Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen Umi to Akari / Hewitt Resort
One of the better hotels we have stayed at. The breakfast buffet was huge and the selection of local fish and vegetables was terrific. Room was relatively large by Japan standards and very comfortable. The important question is would we stay there again. ABSOLUTELY!

Heiseikan Shiosaitei Hanatsuki
Hotel’s buffet is good. But if you are staying for more than 1 night, you might not want to pay for half board as the spread for breakfast and dinner doesn’t change. Otherwise, hotel is clean and comfortable. You need a car to move around though as it is not close to town centre.
