"Fantastic place to stay in Heidelberg! On the river, restaurants, shops and the castle all within walking distance. Hotel is older but has charm and history. It is not The Hilton or Marriott- in my opinion, it is better. Breakfast buffet was authentic German breakfast. Will be staying here again."

"Hotel is being renovated a bit. Rooms are very very small. Staff was able to move us to accessible room which was better - we could put our luggage down. First night we were there was during the worlds soccer game. We were able to stay in the lobby a bit past the 10:30 during Sunday cut off but were asked to leave right before overtime - very frustrating and seemed odd. Lobby and bar area was full of guests and everyone essentially was told to go to bed. Day time staff is amazing and super helpful."

"Basic, efficient accommodations. Unusual entrance via a parking garage elevator. Staff was gracious and helpful. Room was clean, good beds, and had a fantastic view of the Schloss. No AC so be aware if the weather is hot. They did provide a fan which helped but the room was hot during the day. If your goal is to visit the Schloss and you want something in the heart of town, it’s a solid option."
