"Great location, right in the middle of the French quarters with easy access to the trolley and cab service. No refrigerator or microwave in the room and maids did not have refills for coffee and creamers. Outdoor pool outside on the third floor roof, pool needed up keep as water was cloudy and cold. Nice place to hang to bring your own drinks."

"This is our personal experience. The “resort” if you can call it that is not worth the money that you pay. Our room was on the front of the building and the noise level was terrible ALL night long. Between the traffic/road noise to the music from the 4 speakers at the entrance to the lobby or people outside talking we got very little sleep. The distance from the hotel to old town was too far if you plan to spend time there. They do offer a free shuttle that runs every hour but popular times fill up fast. No airport shuttle."

"Quiet location with friendly staff. We went with several people so we're in several of the rooms and each of them were in need of a good cleaning. Many reviews mentioned lack of cleanliness but there were responses saying it was addressed so we took a chance. We knew it was older but clean it was not. Just painting the baseboards would help to dress it up a bit. But it was badly in need of sweeping and mopping in places besides the lobby and common areas. I wouldn't recommend or go back. And be aware, they direct you to the time share desk "to finish checking in.""

"Terrible service by the front desk lady and the manager!!!!!! Wrong charges on smoke detectors by $250 … scamming people who stayed there by saying your room smoke detector activated and you have to pay $250 . We were not in the room that time and we have to get video proof from the restaurant where we had dinner on that time and waste our whole last day in the trip !!!! Stay where ever you want other than this scamming resort who don’t have 1% of Hospitality understanding how to take care the precious costumers who give them the business!!!!! Worst stay ever!!!!!!!!!"

"Front desk staff were great, as was maintenance! We had to ask for our room to be clean and it still only happened once. It’s an older building and you can tell things are broken and not really up to par but for the price who am I to complain?"

"The location was excellent. Loved the views of the beach and hearing the ocean. No one came to clean our room the entire stay which was ok but I did ask the Fri t desk for towels to be delivered but it was not. It was no problem reusing the towels but I would expect if you made a request at the front desk for towels they would be delivered."
