No lo recomiendo, aparenta verse bien en fotos pero es todo lo contrario en ningún momento fueron a limpiar en la habitación. La picsina se veía sucia que no le dan mantenimiento, no hay suficientes utensilios para cocinar, solo funcionaba una hornilla para cocinar ni siquiera tenía fósforos para prenderlo, el área es deprimente para vacacionar y no hay comodidades de un supermercado o restaurantes cerca, en definitivo no vale la pena.

It was a very nice and clean place. Very low key and quiet. It was perfect. I’d recommend to anybody wanting a good place that’s not that expensive.

Clean, safe and affordable!

A hidden gem. We needed a place to park and relax before our 5:00am flight out of DR. This was perfect. Clean and comfy and much better than many chain hotels in the states. Has a pool, lounge chairs,and there is a small beach!

Economic Stay with nice beach in walking distance

Good and Economic when you spend most of the time at the beach. It is clean and has a nice garden with pool. Small supermarkets and restaurants are in 5 min walking distance. Note that only cash is accepted, no credit card and that no safe box is available in the room and that there are no chairs at the beach. But within 5 minutes walking you find a really nice beach where you can rent umbrellas, beach chairs & co.

A Gem

The hotel was extremely tranquil and clean. The pool was very relaxing especially since it was surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. As my wife and prefer to cook our own food, the kitchen and fridge are always on our priority list. It is well equipped. The building is secure at all times as is the general vicinity. Walking to the Colmado is easy. And there is no problem if you need clean towels or other items. We have stayed at several other places in Juan Dolio and this is by far our favorite. We will stay there again in the near future. I hope your enjoy your stay as we did.

We were not told prior to our reservation that we could not use any of the ameneties due to a wedding. This shouls have been communicated at the time of the reservation.

No recomiendo este hotel para nada!!!

La experiencia fue muy mala. En la habitación que nos colocaron no había electricidad, tampoco llegaba agua a la ducha y no había agua caliente en todo el hotel; tratamos de utilizar la piscina y el agua estaba sucia. Nos cambiaron de habitación y el aire no funcionaba; nos decían que no tenían más habitaciones disponibles y se negaban a reembolsarnos el dinero. Como a las 8:30 pm accedieron a devolvernos el dinero porque ya nos encontrábamos de muy mal humor y nos negábamos a continuar allí pasando tan mal momento, y aún asi nos hicieron un descuento de diez dolares porque supuestamente reservamos por hotels.com y ese era el monto que ellos descontaban por la reserva. A esa hora tuvimos que salir a buscar un hotel para pasar la noche y lo que se suponía seria un fin de semana agradable se convirtió en un momento de estrés y disgustos.

Overall I had a great experience. People are very friendly and they allowed us to check in early. My only suggestion would be to provide more tools for the kitchen such as a coffee maker and more than one knife.

Not ideal

The pics online are very exaggerated. So much smaller than in the pics. The kitchen was very under equipped. 1 pot 1 pan. 2 gas burners. Super small fridge which held almost nothing. The bathroom was very small with a hand held shower head. Water goes everywhere the glass door does not stop much. The towels were scratchy and thin. The bed was soft and sank in the middle and destroyed my back. The common area was small with a 2 seat couch. A small table and one chair... Water was hot which was great. Wifi went out all the time and received no attention when I asked the staff. The outdoor space was very good clean and comfortable. Nice small pool and bar area. The beach area was clean and quiet. The hotel staff are basically useless. They have no answers to basic questions. More towels or another pillow or wifi. They are next to another resort that has 2 large dogs who constantly bark 24/7. Extremely annoying when trying to sleep. 2 maintenance men sit out front all day and eye you up when you come in or out. Also annoying. The lack of customer service and basic amenities was very frustrating.

Terrible

It was the worst experience ever, they gave me a room with no hot water and I was forced to take a cold water because I couldn't have slept with no showe, the water was barely dripping. I looked everywhere in the bathroom, I found no towels to dry myself and I had to take my white t-shirt to dry myself. They left me toilet from the previous person. I couldn't sleep because of mosquitoes.The internet price was $55.00 and they charged me $75.00 which they claimed to be some taxes cash only I had to check out in the day and went to a better hotel. Don't go there, it's not worth it.

hotel room with kitchenette is efficiently small but fine. outside the room, only the swimming pool is appealing the beach in front is shallow and of full of sea algae in the bottom price is high compared to other small hotels in the area with bigger rooms and better location

Close to beach.

The grounds are quite pleasant with a nice view over the water, but the beach out the back gate is not good for swimming (though a swimming beach is 5 minutes walk away down the road). There is a/c, tv and wifi. Though we were there 3 nights, they only cleaned the room once, late the second day of our stay. We had the place to ourselves for the most part. Our sunrise walks were a bit awkward, because the staff had to wake up to unlock the doors for us. The staff were friendly and pleasant, but be aware the hotel only accepts cash.
