「The property was absolutely stunning! Beautifully built with an eye to the comfort of guests and respectful of the natural beauty upon which it was built. The owners and hosts, Roger and Rosie, are amongst the kindest and most hospitable people I have met on our travels. We only had two nights here but this place calls for a longer stay where you can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place. Next time! 」

「We arrived early from our last stay and they accommodated us by giving us free range of the grounds until 1 of our 2 rooms was ready. In short, it would be a great place to stay for families with young kids or people who don't particularly like to leave resort grounds. Garishly painted and not near anything (Rincòn de la Vieja park entrance is over an hour away)」

「We loved the remoteness of it, and the friendliness of the lady who served us dinner and breakfast. This is not like a stay in the more touristy parts of Costa Rica like La Fortuna or Monteverde. This is off the beaten path.
Its not as close to the Rincon de la Vieja park as we originally thought (1h30 drive time on poor quality roads, in theory there was a straighter distance road but we didn't trust our rental AWD Rav4 would be able to get there).」

「Staff were so lovely and welcoming. The activities at the resort were good, we booked a package from their website as we only wanted to do some of the activities and the package they offer at the resort is all of them for $120. They allowed us to split up our activities over two days so we did most of them one day and the hanging bridges before we checked out the next. There aren’t many options for food around the resort and I feel more than 2 nights unless you are driving to do an activity...
