"The property is exactly as advertised. 4 floors with one room per floor and a tiny spiral staircase. Very charming. Two balconies overlook the gulf. One in the sun and one in the shade. Two considerations: the beds are very short. If you are over 5-11, you will not fit. The staircase is super narrow. Our backpacks were a great fit, but a suitcase could not make it. If you are a broad shouldered man, you have to turn sideways. The location is fantastic. Great access to the main part of town, gulf views and RIGHT ON the Cinque Terre trail. A great stay."

"Very poor communication, did not hear from anyone up until about 5 minutes before checking. We had no where to go with our luggage and ended up paying for someone to watch it so we didn't have to pull it all over. The stairs to the room were very narrow and unsafe especially at night when you could only put a light on at the beginning of the climb so we had to use our cellphone to shine the flashlight in order to see anything! There were ants in the room and mold on the walls. And we get a message at 0905am asking when we were checking out! Very poor customer service! "

"Dave was wonderful!!!! We missed our train so we took a taxi not knowing the taxi could not drive into the gated neighborhood. Dave came to get us and carried our luggage up the stairs!! Which was a feat in itself! He was kind and so very helpful giving us tips on where to eat and what to see! Even sending us links to the train for day passes! The property was clean and beautiful!!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Highly recommended!!! "

"The best location, right in the lower area of Riomaggiore so it’s very easy to access and get around with minimal stairs. Cutest little apartment with everything you would need to cook. There is a bit of a damp smell but only takes 5-10 minutes with the window open to air it out. This location is unbeatable and Riomaggiore is definitely the best town to stay in. Will 100% stay here again in the future! "

"A very successful stay. The accommodation is wonderful, the location is quiet, away from the tourist hustle but very close to the areas of interest. Close to the train station. And Mr. Pasini was very kind, he gave us all the useful information, where to eat and where not to. We even received a small video on how to get to the accommodation from the train station. Excellent. We will come back with great pleasure."

"Perfect location in Riomaggiore and close to shops, the train station, restaurants. Coffee in the room, our friendly hostess gave us valuable information. We loved our little balcony. Loved our stay away from crazy busy towns like Varanazza. It was the Easter holiday so some places were very crowded. "

"We stayed in Cinque Terre and wanted a place that wasn't totally quiet (Corniglia) or super busy (Montarosso), so settled on Riomaggiore and glad we booked this place. The walk up the hill is a bit inconvenient, but the friendly service was amazing. Enrico spent time with us when we checked in, going thru where to hike, helping us get the Cinque Terre card, plus there is daily complimentary breakfast 8a-10a which was awesome - I got my yogurt and oats, prosciutto and cheese sandwich (the bread is fantastic), and croissants and other pastries, not to mention the espressos and teas and juices, and fruits! Highly recommend for the breakfast and kindness. You probably won't get the same kind of help, kindness and attention in other areas or other hotels. It made our stay 10/10."
