There is some sidereal distance between the way the hotel is advertised and the reality. Amenities almost non existing, very cheap tv and shower box, roadside motel toiletries, AC barely working, slowest elevator and don’t even try to get there with your own car. You are forced to parked 25 mins away (at extra cost) and then someone comes and pick you up. The are is nice but the hotel is simply and unequivocally overrated.

Just wonderful in every way!

We had a wonderful stay and left with lovely memories! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and the whole experience made our trip even more special. A place we would happily return to and warmly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

We arrived early asking to store our luggage so we could go into Bari and come back later, the man at the front desk was not very friendly but told us where the luggage storage room was -it was unlocked, easily accessible to anyone and everyone and not monitored but we left our luggage and it was fine. Came back, checked in, the lady that checked us in was nice-our room was set up for one person so we had to call and get additional towels. We decided to order room service as we had an early flight the next morning but when we called the restaurant, we were told they open at 8pm and no room service until then. We went in at 8 and it had obviously been open for a while as it was 1/4 full. I ordered the minestrone soup-worst I’ve ever had. Then we requested the 3:45 am shuttle to the airport but they forgot to request the shuttle after writing into their log so when we arrived in the morning, we had to wait until the 4:15 shuttle as the 4 was full. Overall not impressed with our experience at this hotel after staying one month in Puglia and having excellent service everywhere else.

This is a lovely hotel in perfect position in Trani, overlooking the harbour and right next to the cathedral and ideally situated for a short stay whilst exploring the town and harbour whilst enjoying the numerous nice bars and restaurants. A couple of things to be aware of are that if you have a car, finding the hotel and parking is not easy as the streets around are only for town residents so I do think this could be explained in any literature the hotel offers to its visitors. However once you know. You can park on the small road on the approach to the harbour pier and this is free of charge so long as you give the hotel receptionist the car registration plate. The receptionist did explain this but only after we found out the hard way. Also the hotel WiFi kept constantly disconnecting but fortunately I have European roaming paid on my phone and also the room air con was poor, the fan blew the air around ok but I suspect the unit needs a refrigerant recharge as it wasn’t effective. So these picky bits aside our room was extremely nice and quite spacious and had a balcony overlooking the harbour which we loved. Staff were courteous but otherwise didn’t offer much. We did enjoy our stay here and thought the town of Trani is lovely with the quayside and small narrow streets behind. Well worth the visit.
