The tents had pretty much everything we needed. The shower has a pull-down chain to make the water come out and the flow stops as soon as you release the chain. It was a little difficult to shower with, but it was better than no shower! The beds were quite comfortable. There are a few outlets in the tents which made cellphone charging convenient. It was very dusty so don't expect to stay clean. Your car needs to be parked down from the lobby tent and then you text message the staff and have them take you to your vehicle if you are unable to walk. It's a bit inconvenient but the staff was so accommodating.

I love the concept but there was a water problem, end for that reason everyone has to be evacuated. With choice of another hotel or full refund of the nights we were out.

Under Canvas Yosemite is the perfect stay if you want to be close to Yosemite without actually staying inside the park. It’s only about a 5 minute drive from the gate which makes it ideal for beating those long national park queues early in the morning. What I loved most is that everything is thought out for the full experience. If you haven’t booked any Yosemite excursions beforehand, don’t stress — they offer so many activities onsite including fly fishing excursions, horseback riding and even morning yoga sessions. The gift shop is also surprisingly good with awesome items including Lululemon tights and other quality products. The breakfasts were great, dinners were enjoyable and the complimentary early morning coffee was such a nice touch before heading into the park. Their deli honestly had one of the best snack selections I’ve ever seen at a hotel or resort. The eco-friendly touches throughout the property were also impressive, especially the showers and lighting. At night the star gazing here is absolutely unreal, and waking up in the morning to open your tent and see pine trees and greenery all around you is genuinely breathtaking.The staff are incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic to help. There are numerous board games you could play with the family whilst waiting for meals. Electric charging station should you need and solar lamps on the driveway should you arrive late. This place is magical. A perfect mix of nature, comfort and adventure just outside Yosemite.

Amazing experience, grounds were beautiful, accommodations were perfect, heated beds were a perfect added touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay, the kids didn’t want to leave.

Under Canvas Yosemite delivers the best of both worlds - the amenities of a hotel with the experience of camping. The seating area with games including large sized connect 4, chess and board /card games only added to the atmosphere. The customer service was great and everyone is so friendly / helpful! One small suggestion may be to provide places to hang the lanterns inside the tents, and in future adding more campfires with variable seating (2 seats, e seats, group seating) for increased access /seating and for s’mores would improve on an already great experience. Thanks for having us!

Awesome glamping experience! Tent was so clean and comfy they have everything you need in the tent ready to go! The shower water was hot, they actually do have WiFi so you can communicate with the staff for any needs, kids activities and s'mores nightly included.

Very cool experience and well maintained. I was amazed there were no bugs in the tents. the only issue is that your car is not close by but they will take you in a golf cart if you forgot anything. Plus i ate too many smores at their all you can eat smores night

We ate Dinner there three times and all were great! Breakfasts were also great. Our room was really fantastic. The Staff went out of their way to make out stay great. Especially Winton ( Not sure of the spelling.).

Celebrated 5 years with my boyfriend at Under Canvas this last weekend and we had the best time. Neither of us are camping people so we opted for a “glamping” experience. The tent was so nice and I loved having a private bathroom and shower. We’re from the city so we were terrified of bears but we didn’t see any at the site. We shared lots of laughs about what could be causing tree branches breaking at 2 in the morning though! The staff was excellent and it was a memory we’re going to remember forever. The site had beautiful scenery and I can’t express enough how glamorous it felt being in a tent with a bed, a shower, and a bathroom. I highly recommend staying here. Such a great place!

The property was cool, definitely more of an experience to come into a cool glamping spot. The heated beds were nice for our cold nights. there’s no service or WiFi in the area. No hiking trails or activities to do in the area. Food was ok nothing special a little pricey. If you’re looking to escape and disconnect after a long day of hiking in Yosemite this is your spot. If you want a stay that has trails/activities and better food I would look somewhere else.
