  • Welcome to Carey Bay Cottages! A small vallage of twelve cottages located in the heart of Grove with a country feel. Quaint & clean, backed by 15 private wooded acres on Carey Bay waterfront. Feel free to roam! The perfect place to bring friends and family yet have your own space. After a long day on the lake, head back to your cozy cottage where you can grill some hamburgers and relax around a fire. Every cottage was designed with the discerning traveler in mind - granite counter tops, completely equipped kitchen, full sized washer and dryer, bathroom with custom shower... the list goes on. All the comforts of home, just smaller. We also have parking for a boat with water and electrical hookups and an outdoor security system.

    Lake time! It's just a short walk behind the cottages to the lake. Bring your boots to explore our woods and enjoy the lake views. The shoreline is kept clean and in its natural state, it's a great place to relax and soak up the sound of the water. Dock the boat just a mile away at The Wolf Creek Park and Boating Facility, a top of the line fishing facility. Professional anglers come from all over the US to fish at Wolf Creek. They offer fishing tournaments and family events year round. Enjoy the other fun activities our area has to offer like various water sports, golfing, the state park, Har-ber Village, and Lendonwood Gardens, to name a few. If you don't mind a bit of a drive, tour Crystal Bridges Museum located an hour away but well worth it.

    Amenities at the cottages include Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with cookware and dishes, drip coffee maker, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, Smart TV, beach towels, linens, propane grill, water & electric for boat hookups. Our area is very safe, but we have installed an outdoor surveillance system as extra security for our guests and their property.

    The natural beauty of the lake and it's surroundings, along with the small town atmosphere are part of what we love so much about Grand Lake. We hope you enjoy your stay and love it here as much as we do!

Perfect Little Cottage & Location

This adorable cottage was absolutely perfect for a weekend away. The trail to the lake is beautiful and we had a blast on the kayaks and paddleboards.

Such a great place to stay!! Would totally recommend for anyone. Quick trip want to come back and stay longer. Didn’t get to use kitchen but it looked like it would have everything you need. I have a terrible bad back and am always concerned about comfort of bed. No problem at all. Very comfortable. Super clean place. Going to recommend to everyone I know!

The cottage was perfect, including all the amenities and its size. We loved how private it felt on the back patio and enjoyed the gas fire pit every night. The shower was glorious and we are going to have to find similar fixtures for our house now. The bed was very comfortable and we truly appreciated the host washing the bedding in scent free detergent when we requested it. We will definitely be back and look forward to actually using the kayaks next time.

Cottage plus pelicans

The setting is beautiful--on the edge of woods and close to the lake, with a lovely trail to the shoreline. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well stocked. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed gathering with our friends around the the propane fire table on the patio. And we were able to see a flock of pelicans and cormorants take flight from the lake Saturday morning!

A very nice cabin. Small, but we knew that from the beginning. Clean and well kept. All of the appliances worked. Overall, a comfortable place to stay.

Spotless Cottage in Unique Setting

The property was most unique with a raised boardwalk extending into a primitive wood lot. Also mulched paths to primitive waterfront. This property is unique with terrific potential.

Peaceful cottage stay

This location is quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and in a great location. You can be floating on your kayak within minutes of your back door, or enjoying a pizza downtown with a short drive. I’d we find ourselves in this area again, we would certainly book again.

Great place for a getaway!

Adorable cabin with vast woods to explore and chill. Right next to the lake to kayak or paddle board. Close to town for anything you might need! Will definitely be back!
