"We had a wonderful time - nice place, great location. The checkin email they sent was confusing - the phone number they provided took me to Vail instead of Kirkwood, and the email said there wouldn't be anyone staffing the front desk, but there was (thankfully) - because that is how we had to get the entry code. The people at Kirkwood lodge mentioned that others have raised the confusion. Only other feedback was there were certain things missing from the kitchen like scissors, or bigger mugs...

"I loved everything I have no complaints we enjoyed our stay, took a walk around the lake near by and enjoyed the game room and fire pit, also loved that there was indoor parking. There were even a family deer that visited the front yard one of the days. Would happily stay here again."

Some things are funky (older windows/ window shades, some of the windows were broken), but has key upgrades like the kitchen appliances, thermostats, bathrooms. Very dusty/ stuffy when we arrived. The lower rating is for a specific issue. When we arrived, we realized the oven wasn't working. This interfered with our dinner plans for the night. We promptly...

The cabinets are all labeled, so we found everything we needed. We had a little mis-hap and broke an item, and the owner/manager was thoughtful and supportive.
