The Space:
Verkestaberg is located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ekolsund, Sweden. Explore enchanting destinations with ease! Enköping, Hjälstaviken, and Skokloster are just a few of the nearby attractions most of our vacationers enjoy. The tiny house is located on the edge of the forest between deciduous trees, pine trees, cairns, and clearings, which offer protection and privacy. The farm consists of lush green fields, towering trees, and a stunning pasture right next door.

A comfortable 221-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and a waterless eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (electric heated for hot showers) for your use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except the dwelling house and its gardens. They also have access to forests and land for berry and mushroom picking.

The Neighborhood:
Verkestaberg sits in the countryside of Ekolsund, Sweden. The tiny home allows you to access major cities like Stockholm and Uppsala easily by car, bus or train. Nearby Hjälstaviken, is one of Sweden's most beautiful bird lakes and hiking trails, while Ekolsund Castle boasts a stunning Arboretum and Castle café.

Enköping, the nearest urban area, has a rich history as a city of parks, featuring many stunning parks with diverse vegetation and themes. Stockholm and Uppsala, with their many attractions, can be easily reached within an hour by car or public transportation.

- Enköping, a small town located near Lake Mälaren, is well-known for its beautiful parks and thriving rural community.
-Fjärdhundraland is a network of small-scale actors operating in the field of visits with close proximity to farm shops, crafts, cafes, and much more.
- Hjälstaviken is a lake that has narrow bridges leading to its center. Along with an 8 km trail around the lake, passing through flowering fields and wet meadows.

By car:

Grillby 9 km, 10 minuter, Örsundsbro 1,2 mil, 15 min, Enköping 1,5 mil, 15 min, Bålsta, 2 mil, 20 min, Uppsala 3 mil, 40 min, Stockholm 6 mil, 1 hour.

By public transport:

Från Enköping eller Bålsta med buss samt 15 minuters promenad till gården. Anslutande tåg från Stockholm och Västerås till båda Bålsta och Enköping samt buss från Uppsala.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Farm tours are available subject to time at 100 kr
- Pets need to be kept on leash as livestock is present
- No smoking allowed inside or outside the tiny house.
- Expect cats, dogs and chickens running free on the farm
- Wifi is not available inside but can be used outside the red villa
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay
-Please keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals. Do not enter fenced pastures if animals are within without permission.

Important note:

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
