Very Good

I will emphasize the word 'rustic' in my review. All areas were clean and linens washed and ready. Furniture and beds were comfortable. The rustic side.... creaky floors, old log insulation, dirty windows, and a front door that opens and shuts with a push, and locks with a masterlock.....kind of odd. You may also encounter a few cobwebs and spiderwebs, mostly around windows. With that said, the porch and the view was breathtaking. The sound of the creek running along the property and wildlife grazing through was truly relaxing!
Only a trickle of water out of kitchen sink.
The toilet seat not secured, had to hold on to keep from falling. We tightened it ourselves.
Cobwebs everywhere.
Sheet torn and too small for the bed.
The only large burner on stove does not work.
Other burner not level and impossible to cook on.
The linens old, stained and uncomfortable using.
This cabin needs so much attention.
We were way over charged for this rundown property.
I enjoyed the location and wildlife. We were disappointed in two of the bed options. The mattress in the room on the left was intolerable for anyone to sleep on and was in terrible condition. So my friends tried out the sleeper sofa in the family room and it was shocking the condition that was in. There were a ton of cobwebs and dust bunnies all over the floor. The rest of the house such as the kitchen was clean and ready for use. I appreciated the grille outside. We were looking for a clean blanket and I found one in a closet that was clearly very dirty.

Very quaint and peaceful! Amazing opportunity to download and relax
First impression was questionable as there’s a deadbolt on the door that management had unlocked so we could walk in (fine in a tiny town but strange for people from the city) this cabin is very quaint inside though! It comfortably sleeps 4 & heat works great. There were cobwebs all around that could easily have been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were holes in the comforters and the couch needs to be replaced along with the vcr that doesn’t work but overall, it’s authentic! Easy fixes can be made to make this a 5 star stay but it’s Greer & for a small town this is a cute place!

Very rustic cabin with great views
Very rustic cabin, spider webs and spiders were a little much. Needs updating with furniture . The view is great and feels secluded. Right next to the creek, but you have to go exploring to see it. You can hear the creek and elk and coyotes. Great weather and close to lakes if you want to drive a little bit and fish or just expire nature.
The house is filthy. You really need to give your cabin a deep cleaning.
Needs a deep cleaning. Look under the beds and around the windows for spider webs

Relaxation at its best
Loved the cabin and the snow, as well as the herd of elk grazing in the yard one morning. Simple pleasure of relaxing and taking time to breathe.

Rustic and perfect
We couldn't have had a more perfect scenario with snow which made it easy to give five stars. Otherwise the long stretch of property to the river in and of itself was amazing and it was everything we expected and hoped for.

WE LOVED THIS LITTLE CABIN
The cabin looks exactly as represented in the photos. The kitchen is fully-functional with an ice-cold fridge waiting for our food. The water gets nice and hot. There are two full-sized beds (one in each room), which are a bit small for two full-sized adults, but the rooms were cozy. One of the beds is more comfortable than the other, so I recommend claiming your room first. It was not cold enough for us to use the fireplace (small wood stove) or heater, but both were there. We filled the hummingbird feeder on the porch with 1 part sugar per 4 parts water, and watched as 6 or 7 hummingbirds hung out with us all week. You can see the nearest neighbors, but they aren't really "in your face". You could only hear their cars going by and, one day, a chainsaw being used. The kitchen had everything you really need to cook and bake. I would make sure to bring your own dry goods because unless you like crushed red pepper and a couple other random spices, you'll be out of luck. The patio was great for sitting, and faced away from the neighbors. The gas grill had plenty of propane and worked well. A starter bundle of firewood is out there for your use as well. The town of Greer is about a mile away, which was an easy, leisurely walk or bike ride. In the town are a couple shops, post office, restaurants. Lovely people. We will be staying here again for sure.
