North Cascades Inn

"North Cascades Inn was a great one-night base in Marblemount before hiking Sahale Arm. I knew going in that the bathrooms were shared, and that wasn’t an issue at all. I’ve stayed in hostels and similar places while traveling, and I never once had trouble finding an open bathroom during my stay. The property is really cute and quaint, with a lot of historic character. My room was on the smaller side, but that was completely fine since I wasn’t there to spend much time indoors. The bed was very comfortable, check-in was incredibly easy with my key waiting in an envelope, and everything felt clean and well cared for. The location was especially convenient. There are restaurants right across the street, a convenience store next door, and it’s right at the start of Cascade River Road, making it an ideal launching point for Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm. It was also very affordable for the area. For a simple, comfortable place to stay before a big day in the North Cascades, it worked perfectly."

"This is an amazing little cabin right on the river. The loft stairs a little sketchy so if you’re older this might not be the place for you. There isn’t great views of the mountains but the river is beautiful. Also really loved the hot tub. It’s not secluded down by the river but luckily no neighbor was around."
