Einwandfreies Hotel, sauber, modern ausgestattet, gute Betten, ruhige Lage, Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und große Auswahl in wirklich guter Qualität. Großer Pool. Wir waren in der absoluten Nebensaison da. Das Hotel schloss 3 Tage nachdem wir abgereist sind. Von daher waren vielleicht noch 20 Zimmer belegt. Wie ruhig das Hotel in der Peak Saison ist, kann ich also nicht beurteilen. Aber, wie gesagt, sonst alles tiptop.

Really lovely hotel in excellent location. Peaceful spot but east to get to a number of very good beachfront restaurants and Kos marina. About 30 minutes walk to town or safe cycle/scooter routes all along road. Staff cannot do enough for you and very friendly. Special mention to the beautiful Bengal cat who lives in the hotel and visited us in our balcony every day 😻

Couldn’t fault this hotel. From the staff to the amenities and cleanliness, everything was top notch. Felt very well looked after and any question we had was answered by the very friendly staff. I’m not normally one for the entertainment section at hotels, but I must admit that the entertainment here put a smile on my face. We walked most days to the old Kos Town, but the hotel will happily arrange a taxi if needs be, which we did in fact use for an evening to watch the sunset in Zia. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Kos.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and did the best to make us enjoy the offered services. At the restaurant there was a wide choice for breakfast and dinner, not always of a mediterranean cousine tough. The room was comfortable and daily cleaned, we appreciated it very much.

I can't fault the property. It's clean comfortable and a good selection of food. The drinks are expensive but that's expected of a hotel. The walk to the beach you have to be super careful, as the walk down from the hotel is very narrow and on that lane is a vehicle hire company and coaches and cars are up and down there every minute. You have to cross a major road to get to the pebbled beach, if you have kids it's mega dangerous. The beaches are man made with brought in sand and the walk into the sea is very bad as the beach is made of large stones. Wrong side of the island really if you have children.

Personale gentile e cortese. Noi avevamo mezza pensione e vi era sempre varia scelta giornaliera (essendo i pasti a buffet). Camera pulita ogni giorno e letto king molto comodo e spazioso.

Unsere Ferien auf Kos im Hotel Platanista waren perfekt. Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das kulinarische Angebot vielfältig und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Erfahrung, weshalb wir das Hotel Platanista definitiv weiterempfehlen können.

4/5 stars. Clean room. Great pool.

I stayed in a brand new room, I was the first to use it. There was an issue of the bolt lock not working when I arrived, but was fixed the next morning. The room was very clean, everything was new and the bed was comfortable. I had a great view of the pool and property from the balcony. Although the room was great, there is no sound proofing and I could hear every footstep and conversation in the hall. This woke me up a few times late at night or early in the morning. The serving staff in the restaurant area and cleaning/maintenance staff in the hotel were very kind and helpful. The front desk staff seemed to only want to help at a minimum. Overall, the pool/room/beach were 5 stars!! Beautiful hotel!

The hotel is lovely and clean with everything you need. There are two big pools, the pool area is well looked after. The standard of food is very good, but what makes this hotel exceptional is its staff.

Bellissime piscine ed aree verdi ben curate. Colazione a buffet buona ed abbondante, con cibi per tutti i gusti. Bar a bordo piscina con spettacoli tutte le sere. Non abbiamo provato il ristorante, aperto solo alla sera (obbligo pantaloni lunghi per gli uomini). Unico problema riscontrato nella errata gestione del mini bar in camera (attribuzione di consumazioni mai effettuate), amplificato dall'atteggiamento in merito poco rispettoso da parte di un addetto alla reception al quale mi sono rivolto per protestare, il tutto comunque risolto con gentilezza e professionalità da parte del Direttore dell'hotel. Il personale della struttura è risultato essere in generale gentile e professionale.

Nydelig hotell, men enkel standard på rommene. Harde senger og vi de rygger passer ikke sammen. Syns familierommene var for små til å dele med tennåringer. Hadde kanskje fungert med yngre unger. Veldig hyggelige ansatte!

Super Hotel in quiet location along the bay from Kos Town. Excellent facilities in beautiful surroundings, including a ‘must visit’ spa. This is a real haven for those who just want to relax in the sun at the end of the season.

Gute Lage und rascher Zugang zum Strand. Freundliches und aufgestelltes Personal. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit für 14 Tage und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Zimmer waren immer sauber und nette Gesten gehörten ebenfalls dazu.

Schönes Hotel mit schöner Poolanlage

Wir waren eine Woche hier. Das Hotel ist schön gelegen. Etwas weiter weg von der Straße, dadurch schön ruhig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Familienblock, somit war es ruhig trotz der abendlichen Animationsshow. Der Strand ist sandig aber im Wasser sehr steinig. Kleine Tavernen sind gleich nebendran. Man kann dort gut essen. Die Bushaltestelle ist ebenfalls dort. Man kommt schnell und günstig in die Stadt. Ebenfalls neben dem Hotel ist ein Verleih von Fahrrädern, Autos, Quad etc. Rundum alles da. Man kann das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Super hotel!

Heel vriendelijk personeel, goeie service. Eten aan de poolbar is zeker een aanrader. Ontbijt en avondeten was ok. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer geboekt, zijn pas gerenoveerd, heel netjes, airco werkte perfect, ook overal wifi, zeker een pluspunt. Ook geen handdoekjes leggen van 's morgensvroeg, hotelgasten zijn deftig publiek. Wij hadden zeker een vakantiegevoel!

Mooi hotel met goed eten en vriendelijk personeel

Lekker eten, fijn zwembad dat ruim genoeg was voor iedereen, met genoeg ligbedden, heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel.

Sehr schönes, stilvolles Hotel in Strandnähe

Wir waren 9 Tage im Hotel Platanista in einem Deluxe Doppelzimmer untergebracht. Bereits der 1. Eindruck war überwältigend. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet - es gibt mehrere Häuser mit 2 Etagen und keine Riesengebäude, was die Anlage sehr stilvoll und angenehm macht. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt und schön gestaltet. Es finden verschiedene Aktivitäten statt, wie Aquafitness, Minigolf, Beachvolleyball am Strand etc. - allerdings ist dies alles sehr dezent und in verschiedenen umliegenden Bereichen, sodass man trotz den Aktivitäten ebenfalls entspannt am Pool liegen kann (es gibt 2 Poolanlagen - ein Pool für Kinder und Animationen etc. und ein "ruhiger Pool"). Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig - unter anderem wurden auch jeden früh frisch Spiegeleier & Bacon, Pancakes, Waffeln und Crepes für jeden persönliches zubereitet. Außerdem gab es eine große Auswahl an süßen und Herzhaften Speisen. Die Zimmer waren immer sauber und die Klimaanlage funktionierte sehr gut. Die Rezeption schien allerdings immer etwas unfreundlich bzw. nicht sehr "Serviceorientiert" - auf verschiedene Nachfragen (Briefmarken für Postkarten, Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Erklärung der Busse vor Ort) gab es meist nur sehr kurze Antworten und uns fehlte hier etwas die "persönlichere Note". Außerdem sprach bei uns auch nie jemand deutsch, obwohl das Hotel damit wirbt, dass auch deutsch gesprochen wird. Zusammenfassend ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.
