「The resort itself is smaller than others we have travelled to. There were some renovations going on and a fair bit of space that was unused. It wasn't a busy time of year, so the engagement in the entertainment might have been a bit lower than at other times. Though the staff were excellent. 「The property is very lovely and the pools are great. The pool bar employees are nice and they make a good cocktail. The beach is a quick few minute ride with a shuttle and the beach bar and area is great as well. Oscar makes a great mojito! The buffet and El Olivo had very tasty food and good service. From Rosa at the front desk who took care of us and made sure we had a beautiful room with a stunning view to Junior the pool concierge who had our cabanas ready every morning and checked on us. Danny at The Reef made sure the drinks kept flowing and Wander kept us inform of all the activities. We had a beautiful time! Everyone was attentive, and made sure we enjoyed our vacation. 」

「Staff at RIU is amazing, they provide excellent service. Location is great with beautiful beach 🏝️. Property is well maintained. Food is great. Spa and wellness, very good. The only thing where I would like to see some improvements are rooms that can use some updates, bed mattresses are slightly too firm for my preference. Overall I would recommend this property to my friends and family.」
