"I will say this was better than I was expecting. Reading the reviews before hand made me feel like I made a mistake booking this place but it turned out to be pretty awesome. The room had a weird smell to it and they close the pools at 6pm which was stupid but other than that it was a pretty good resort. Drinks are poured strong, if you are looking for a party resort then this is it."

"This was my first time visiting the Dominican Republic, and our stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with amazing hospitality and excellent service. The staff even upgraded our stay with complimentary Elegance Club access, which would have otherwise cost us around $500! Our room was always clean and well maintained. The staff left us champagne and other alcohol, and our fridge was fully stocked every day. We also took advantage of the complimentary room service, although I would recommend checking out the buffets, restaurants, and lounges if you’re looking for a wider variety of food. One of the highlights for us was definitely the four Elegance Club pools. They offered much more privacy, plenty of cabanas and beach chairs, and the staff working at the swim-up bars were always friendly and attentive. As for the food, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant, especially the hibachi experience and sushi. The steakhouse was also very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Italian restaurant was the one disappointment of our trip. The service was poor, and the food arrived cold and lacked flavour. The buffets, however, were a great option, especially for breakfast and grabbing snacks throughout the day. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The resort itself is beautiful, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, and the staff were exceptional and extremely accommodating!"
