So sorry to hear your stay with us wasn’t as smooth as it could have been. You should have rung bell and I would have come out and asked next door to be quieter but they were also guests from Expedia. This is an old building and the walls are thin. We do not advertise a bar or reception area we are just a small guest house. I wasn’t around much as was my oldest sons birthday and now that I run this alone since my husband’s death it is a little more difficult

I’m sorry you didn’t like your room at our hotel we have ordered new mattress protectors as I agree these were grubby but they are clean just marked we had a guest that fell asleep with tap on which caused flooding in upstairs room so we had to dry ceiling out but we are not offering food at min so didn’t consider that a problem and we had electric board in to read meters on Tuesday and he obviously didn’t re lock the cupboard afterwards docs. Only apologise for that as I didn’t notice before your arrival

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. No-one before or after was bitten no fleas here the man with the kitten was a friend and just visiting he had just bought the kitten for 700 and wax stopping the night before returning home he is a returning guest who stays several times a year. The ceiling fans move on a ball mechanism so wobble quite a bit but are checked every year. The cracks in the ceiling are from other guests and it is a false ceiling of ceiling tiles just been slow on getting new ones delivered this year even though have been on order some supply issue. The mattress protector on the bed was stained but clean. The curtains did need changing but was waiting on putting up new curtains poles which can’t be done on a busy weekend but are being done today. We thought better to have curtains up as opposed to No curtains up. I gave them the key and was around all evening even saw the young man a couple of times and if they had rung bell would have come out. I wasn’t around so much in morning but since my husband died earlier this year have had trouble sleeping and can oversleep in mornings so can only apologise for that but we are trying our best to sort all problems during a very difficult time.

I already explained that there was no alternative can only apologise for double room but was an upgrade from ours as they 4 star and cost double what you paid here. You arrived just after breakfast which we had not yet cleaned up from and my apologies had not got round to cleaning the toilet that day yet but was cleaned later

I’m sorry that we did not meet your standards on this occasion we agree outside does need a tidy up but rooms have just been redecorated and private bathroom l. Everyone normally compliments us on our breakfast which we think is excellent value for money. The mattresses are new. The tv can have problems normally just needs a retune which had you have mentioned we could have done for you. We are very cheap for what we provide and agree location is great hope to see you again Patsy

The beds were unfortunate we had ordered news ones but was waiting on delivery if we had removed the beds you would not have had enough beds in that room and would have complained about that. The shower has just come unclipped at bottom and just needs screwing back together can only apologise for that but is perfectly safe to use. The sanitary bags we have had trouble getting hold of this year from our suppliers so can only apologise for that. We hope you will come again and we will do better.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with although we have had a few bad reviews we have had lots of good reviews too we never answer the door with what do you want but can I help you. Our location is good. We recently decorated room 2 and it has had new bathroom this year which most guests like. If your room smelled of weed must have been previous guests but we we always use air freshener. Although it is a personal choice if you wear a mask both me and my partner are exempt on medical grounds and the other staff always wear them but my children who occasionally help out don’t wish too which is their choice as this is their home. You complained on site that your room needed cleaning and we went into room to clean but you had so much stuff everywhere that we just changed your towels and refilled tea making which we do daily for every room. I’m sorry but no-one has access to your room to eat their takeaways and staff would have gone Homs after morning shift. I did remind you that you had not paid as it is pay on arrival which it states quite clearly on booking sites and you did not pay then. The card machine was broken so had no choice but to ask you to get the cash you could have left your luggage with us here until you were ready to go home as most of our guests do. I thanked you for the payment and also said we hoped to see you again but hopefully we will do better on your next visit we are only budget accommodations and we feel we offer a good service for monies paid

So sorry your stay was not up to standard the tv remotes are forever going missing had you mentioned it would have replaced it fir you. The ceiling tiles are on order so we can replace but have renovated that room with revamp on decor and replaced bathroom . It was not us arguing we went out about 9pm to sort complaint with another guest arguing and my husband asked to to shut up or we would have them removed if you had rung door bell a member of staff would have tried to sort the situation again sorry for any inconvenience hope we do better next time.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay was called into work unexpectedly but did message and explain we are not serving breakfast at the moment as we would only get 2 rooms at a time in dining room so would take all day. You only paid for room only no breakfast. The furniture is pine due to flat pack being no good in hotels as it not sturdy enough as guests do not treat anything with respect if it not theirs. The beds and bedding are all less than year old as was all replaced last year. The shower tiles are not mouldy it’s black grout which was a mistake. Sorry you were disappointed

I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. The WiFi can be very temperamental. Not sure why you didn’t mention tv channels to staff may be we could have helped. We are just off the beach in tourist area in town we in good area here all guests normally approve of our location. We cannot be responsible for random people roaming the streets at anytime but you were obviously outside too. The fight outside again is not our responsibility and we cannot stop other people from fighting in public and we are In close proximity to pubs clubs. We are also close to many takeaways in the area and drivers and staff for them takeaways work hard with long hours for tourists and at times can be noisy putting out rubbish and bottles etc.
