「South view cottage was everything we wanted for our 4 night stay. The cottage is fully equipped, providing everything you’ll need. The views are beautiful and it’s so peaceful. Bruce was a fantastic host. We will be back to south view cottage again soon.」

「The Larches proved to be the ideal place for us to hold a family celebration. Eight of us had ample space to spread out with room for more. The large modern kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group and proved to be the hub of the house to enjoy meals together. There are many good walks in the area right from the doorstep and Kirkby Stephen is easily accessible. Some window latches in the bedrooms need replacing .We would certainly consider returning and recommend to others.」

「The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out..」

「This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

「We had a lovely time in this comfortable cottage. The views from the rear are spectacular especially with the trees in golden autumn colours. It is cosy and very convenient for the village and Ullswater.」

「We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage. Everything one could need in the cottage and in such a beautiful location. Walks from the front door! A short drive into Windermere and the rest of the Lake District too. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again. 「This is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut on the edge of a pretty and quiet village in the North Pennines. Lots of walking routes nearby and just a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland. We enjoyed our stay very much though were disappointed that the internet signal was so poor. The TV would not stream smoothly so not worth having it there at the moment. Still, this was a small sacrifice for the pleasure of experiencing tiny living life for a few days. Everything else worked really...

「Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. 」
