This was a great weekend get-away for my family! The house was clean and very nice. The dock allowed lots of room for two jet skis, and a 20' boat. There was room to swim and enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking when the boat and skis were docked. Tim and Laurie were great and made the check in/out process simple. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This vacation rental will be recommended to our friends.
We can’t say enough about our stay at Mason Lake, hosted by the most gracious hosts - Tim and Lorrie. We are so grateful for the last minute find. Time on the lake, enjoying morning coffee on the dock, majestic sunsets and even some stargazing were just what we needed. The house was pristine and well stocked for everything we could need for our week stay. We truly appreciate the hospitality of Tim & Lorrie. We’ll be back!
We had a wonderful time at Tim & Lorrie’s lake property. They were exceptional hosts and the house and it’s views were amazing! It is also conveniently located to many of Washington’s main National and state parks as well as other attractions.
We know the lake fairly well and hands down most would agree that Little Hoquium cove is THE spot on the lake.
We were greeted with a batch of cookies upon our arrival and a fun little snack basket to enjoy to kick off our extended weekend!
Home was super clean, and perfect for our family of four. Kitchen is well stocked and no issues cooking every meal during our stay.
Bathrooms were spacious with great water pressure (huge bonus). All the modern technological needs were provided with solid internet wifi and satellite tv. Home also boast a ductless Mitsubishi heating and cooling so in the hot summer months you will stay nice and cool.
The yard was great with a fairly level grassy area (not muddy) and a perfectly brand new dock to moorage your boat/jet ski for the stay. The end of the dock is extra spacious that can easily entertain 8 people comfortably. Deep water (about 8-10 feet) off the end make for a perfect jump off point for a dip in the clean clear lake. If you rather wade in, the zero depth entry at the shore will suit you and your little kids perfectly.
Incredible sunsets and views of the Olympic Mt. showcase this wonderfully relaxing spot. Those interested in fishing, we had a good luck everyday just fishing off the dock but if you rather, the owners provide all the non-motor water toys you could expect. 2 paddle boards, 2 sit-in Kayaks and peddle-boat at your finger tips (probably want to make sure you bring your own life jackets that fit).
Overall, exceeded our expectations!
This place is amazing! Great lakefront home with everything you could ever want both inside and outside. Although our weather didn’t cooperate we still had a great time. Both Tim and Lorrie were such gracious hosts. We’re already planning to come back next year!
Our family had a great time at Mason Lake over Labor Day Weekend 2020. The house was perfect for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did the family and friends that came to visit during the day. We are looking forward to heading back to the lake next summer.
What a delightful vacation on Mason Lake. We so enjoyed our time. The home was perfect for us and offered the rest and relaxation that our family needed.
The setting was just incredible. Mason Lake is such a wonderful place, surrounded by the Olympics. The home had kayaks, paddle boards, and a pedal boat available to use during our stay. But what called our name most was just the enjoyment of family time sitting on the deck, playing cards or reading, and taking in the beauty that surrounded us.
Thank you Tim and Lorrie for the use of your home. Also, oh my, the peanut butter cookies were an extra special touch that we so enjoyed.
