This place should not be open. It has 24 hr electronic surveillance so there are no regular staff. The water has a brown tint. I do not know if it safe to drink. I do not recommend this place until they renovate. This place has potential but has not been maintained.
The price was right! I had trouble getting in as the one set of doors was locked to get into the office part, so I went into the bar area in order to get into the building. However there was another set of doors to get into the office area but I didn't see them until I was inside the building.
This property is poorly maintained!!!
Bathroom missing lock. Dirty fridge. Old food left in fridge
Flooring in bad condition. Paint peeling from walls.
Hot water not regulated
Will not stay here again. Do not reccomend to others
Worst hotel I have stayed in :( Ladies at the front were nice and helpful. Bed felt like an old sponge, the carpets in the hallways were wet and stained. The bathroom had lots of water damage. The floor under my bed wasn't clean but I only noticed it when I was looking for bugs. Thankfully I didn't see any but didn't sleep under the blankets. Loud crash from the owners suite around 1am woke me up and couldn't get back to sleep. Won't be back

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Don't think it's as bad as some reviews say
Overall the room and hotel was ok. There was a but if a smell in the hallway. The room was relatively clean but there were a few areas that could have used some more TLC. The office staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. I ordered a pizza from the restaurant..... Didn't care for it. But have had worse. But you get what you pay for. It's like buying a $1000 Rolex and complaining you can hear it tick. I don't think it's as bad as some of the reviews I read. Didn't see a thermostat so I can see how people complain about the cold and getting a electric heater.
So to simplify, would I stay there again? Yes depending on conditions but I am going to check out other hotels.
As we approached through the huge potholes in the pavement and saw the tall weeds everywhere, glanced at the building and saw that some pieces of siding had fallen off of the building, realizing this property was misrepresented on the ad on Expedia. I went into the lobby and noticed a disgusting dank smell, rang the bell to get attention of a clerk who eventually came over and I explained that we would not be staying as even the windows in the entrance were disgusting and filthy dirty as was the entrance to the lobby. Admittedly I did not view the room but with the property being as run down on the exterior and the smell in the lobby, there seemed to me no need. I was assured by the clerk that a full refund would be forthcoming. I went outside and he saw I took some pictures and he meekly objected and I responded that I needed proof to provide to Visa in case the credit was not forthcoming. DO NOT stay at this property as the pictures on Expedia are not representative of what you think you are getting.
Let’s start with the things I did like, because it’s a shorter list. The bed was comfortable, some sheets were marked however. It does have a big fridge/freezer, microwave and TV. The bad things; stain on the only big string chair. No plugs in the bathroom. The outlets were very few in the room. The outlet behind the bed had no cover on it and the gap around the receptacle was big enough to put your finger. Reserved through Expedia and when I got there they gave me a higher price. I told them this is what I booked and showed her on my phone, so she agreed to the price. Her boss came in and he was ticked, he said “ the rate it too low and he has told Expedia before. The lady said she had already rung us in for the lower price. He said no that’s fine, I am just talking about future guests. This was an inappropriate thing to be arguing about in front of a customer. The view out our window was terrible, wires hanging off the roof, grass never cut all year, doors laying in grass or old faded deck, ladders up to roof etc. if I could add photos I would. I know that we won’t ever stay here again no matter how low the price is. I better check out and turn in the plastic door key card (with the room number written on it with a marker, so if you loose your key and a stranger finds it, they’ll have a place to stay. The towels and wash rags (from the 80s) were very worn , not even one bath towel. We should have know by the outdoor appearance, the rundown entrance and soiled hall carpets
The door to outside parking has no sweep so the 1.25” gap at bottom lets the winter in.
The breaker for the two electrical oitlets of the room kept turning off. In the 5 days food dropped in hallway on the floor showed no cleaning ever done. I watched staff step over it. The parking lot never cleaned of snow. Vehicles getting stuck.
Staff I dealt with were friendly and courteous. The room was recently renovated - carpet removed and laminate installed, freshly painted and clean. Bathroom is old but functional and clean. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Very quiet where my room was. Heater/air conditioner worked well but did blow on the bed which I rectified by moving the bed. Fridge worked fine. TV didn’t work but was quickly fixed when I mentioned it. The property is old and could use a facelift at the entrance. I felt it was value received for what I paid.
Checked into 1st room (after being charged more than quoted), which was relatively clean, only to be moved to another room 5 minutes later because apparently the TV didn't work. Second room was not clean; beds were made but toilet/sink/tub were not even wiped down, and the tub drain was so full pf hair you showered in standing water. There was dirty linen and dustbunnies under beds, the second bed had a severly broken boxspring. The internet only worked about 10% of the time.
Most concerning was that the main lobby doors which were locked from the inside whenever the desk clerk was away (front desk hours are from 4:30 PM to ???) so you could not exit or enter through the front door. None of the doors have keycard access. The only other exit door was a back one, which locked behind you unless you propped it open with a stick (with 3 sxrews sticking oit of it) left conveniently on the ground outside. This door also has a latch installed so it could potentially be padlocked from the outside!!!
