「This was a good location for Grand Marias exploring. As I drove up I realized the pic from the Ad is the other side of the house, I walked around to make sure I was in the right place. It's older with alot of wood but cute decorations and pretty much everything we needed. It's small but functional. The the screened porch that is turned into a bedroom/living room is fine as long as you dont want alot of privacy, it's a partial wall, doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and door that does not...

「We got this on short notice for 2 couples, and we were grateful to find a place. It would be ideal for a few more people at the price. Only complaints were only one bathroom and the bedrooms were pretty small. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay with spacious living area and game room downstairs.」

「We found Carter’s Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was only a few blocks from restaurants. We loved the large laundry room for removing our wet boots and clothes after spending the day stone hunting. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. 」

「Pros: Cute and cozy for small group. Convenient location. Nice deck to sort and wash rocks. Cons: Cottage not cleaned from previous renter due to miscommunications on their end. But cleaner came and offered fee refund. Outdated furnishings and walk to beach longer than expected.」

「We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!」
