"The property was in a great location however it was not really noted beach access was down the road and not accessible from the house. The house is definitely older with rotten pylons, back deck is in horrible condition and extremely sketcy, boards were not screwed down due to rotten boards and the top deck wobbles pretty bad. The bottom floor room smelled bad and was dingy feeling, middle floor was better but bedding was stained and looked dirty so we washed before using. Top floor and front deck were nice. Overall a great place for large groups although the property needs some TLC."

"The home was beautiful and very clean. The view from the back balcony was absolutely gorgeous, one of my favorite places to sit when we weren’t out on the beach! We can’t wait to go back and visit, Grand Isle will always be like a second home to me so I’m very thankful to have been able to spend this trip in this home."

"Very comfortable cottage within walking distance to the beach. Good size for 4 people. Kitchen well stocked. Bathroom good sized. Washer/dryer worked well. Bedrooms are small. Air conditioner in one bedroom noisy. Back patio area is shared with guests in the adjacent cottage. Communication with host is via host email and VRBO- so watch your email. Also, can text with host easily."

"Way too high of price for what we got in this location. Chair legs and table leg had dog chew marks. We got ate up by fleas inside of this unit. The microwave didn't look safe to use. It looks like it caught on fire on the inside. The bed we slept in was broken by the footboard. Don't recommend at all until problems are fixed. Wasn't a pleasant stay."

"Sea breeze was wonderful!! Beach view was minimal, high levee with tall grass blocked the view. The parking was perfect, right next to the apartment!"

"Everything was great overall. Only concern was parking. The guest sharing the parking area had 2 suvs and a utv and I had a suv with a trailer for our golf cart. Not parking on the grass was a little difficult however we made it work."
Charming cabin in Grand Isle - Perfect for a getaway - Sun & Sand Cabins

"The property and arrangements were described perfectly. We got to the area a little early, so I texted Bonnie and asked if there was a way to check in early. Once the cabin was cleaned, she was more than accommodating with my request. Extremely close to the beach, less than a block and you are there. We wanted to go surf fishing but it was much too windy, but the walk, which was about a hundred yards, to the beach was easy with our equipment. We had five individuals in the cabin and there was plenty of room, even after blowing up an air mattress. We were at cabin number one and easily parked our four pickup trucks. Other cabins may have different parking but hours had great space for our vehicles. I would recommend staying here and I will definitely do it again in a couple of months. The space under the cabin is plentiful, with a bench to sit on and plenty of room for chairs. As described, no towels so bring your own. Thank you!"
