Cozy cabin - Highlands of Belair

"Renee was very nice, and easy to deal with. Instructions on how to access the cabin and lock it back up again was easy to follow. Everything was nice and clean, and orderly. The only hiccup was that I/we thought we were getting a 3 bedroom cabin but we did not have access to the 3rd bedroom so one person had to sleep on the couch in the living room. I'm very sorry for the chain on the light/fan in the living room breaking but my friend didn't realize that the switch for it was on the wall next to the 3rd bedroom and when she pulled on it, it broke. Location wise it was about 10 minutes from the Summer Winds Music Festival that we were attending so that was great. The shower had an iron smell to it which I don't know if that was strictly from the water or if something might be rusting in there."

"Overall the property was incredible value for money. Cleanliness could have been a bit better and third bedroom is in fact a sunroom with no blinds. Futon bed in that area wasn’t the most comfortable.The spa building was a gem and obviously the key piece to the rental property.Owner was very receptive to feedback and communication and very quick to respond.I would stay again!"

"Pros: Cabin is on a nice quiet lot with firewood and firepit. Cabin was very clean and host supplied all bedding & towels and well stocked kitchen with loads of pots/pans, dishes& utensils. Cozy beds to sleep comfortably. Pet friendly!Cons: Not close to any public beaches. No garbage pick up after 6 night stay and we needed to drive 10 min to nearest dump and pay dump fee. Water jugs were empty when we arrived so had to drive to Traverse Bay to exchange them ourselves. One A/C window unit for the entire cabin made for very hot/humid bedrooms even with fans. We also found it a bit pricey (during prime season) after all extra fees/taxes were added up"

"Everything was fantastic. We loved being able to walk to the beach for an evening swim with just a towel. The cabin would be perfect if the bunkbed didn’t squeak every time someone turned over."

"This was above my expectations. Clean quiet perfectly located. Our group was met with treats and everything as it advertised. One little hiccup with keyless entry was immediately resolve by host. Will definitely be making this a frequent favorite. We could not have asked for better."

"Very nice cottage, unfortunately the floors needed more clean up, bathroom tub still had sand dirt on bottom, walkway to beach was not mowed but day later it was cleaned up. Return air grates should be cleaned in cottage along with inside cupboards , but all in all the location was perfect. Missing was the TV remote so a little disappoint however Mgmt came out and set up the firestick with remote. Again, it was a well needed family vacation , we had a good time certainly would consider renting again."
