  • I walked all the way up to find these gardens without really knowing what to expect, but I absolutely loved them! It's said that poet Frederico García Lorca spent quite a bit of time here. There's a grand house surrounded by multiple gardens and fountains. 🌴⛲️🍊It's a rather peaceful spot with overlooks of the city and surprises around every corner. There are plaques displaying local Spanish poetry throughout, and I even found a gang of peacocks wandering around! Definitely plan to spend a lot of time here. Update: there is also a hidden lake with a mini castle on an island in the middle, as well as ducks... 🦆

Absolutely beautiful flat, very comfortable and clean, and, perfectly located! The receptionist is lovely and helped us find a parking garage when the one closest was full. Lots of wonderful places to eat nearby but also 10 minutes walk to major plazas. Just lovely! Busses to the Alhambra right on the corner!

Perfect apartment for our two day stay. There was a washing machine on site that was very convenient for us. Small grocery store, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We found a safe and affordable parking lot nearby behind a local school. Communication was fantastic!

It was a perfect stay the apartment was clean quiet everything that you would need was available .I would recommend it for everyone who is curious to learn more about Arab Islamic and Andalusian heritage.definitely I would like to come back again the city and stay were welcoming.

Great communication. Such a wonderful surprise to arrive to the apartment and there was a bottle of wine and some fresh fruit waiting for us! Having an elevator was great and the property had everything we needed including a washing machine. Easy to walk to restaurants or bakeries. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Room clean, staff helpful with response, parking a distance from accommodation so decided to drop bag first although had to do this solo whilst husband drove car off as there was literally no where to even temporarily park, as roads are narrow. Amenities in the apartment was ok, nice gesture of tea bags and some coffee pods. Kettle, stove, microwave, iron. The beds are not double but 2 single in the apartment for a family of 3. we did not use the IKEA couch in the lounge as it is not the comfiest, creaked and there was a tiny cockroach seen so decided not to take any chances! Maybe it was just our luck with that.. Close to bus stop, and walkable to town.

We liked the proximity to everything and the friendly receptionist. She was informative helpful and kind. My only complaint was that the room smelled like really bad like feet or gym socks. We had to light an incense to try and get rid of the smell.

We booked this property, thinking it was a 3.5 star property as that what it purports itself to be. We were not impressed, although it might also depend on the apartment where you are staying. The building itself is decent and in a safe neighborhood. The woman working the "front desk" when we arrived was not helpful and could not provide any helpful suggestions as to where to eat. The thing that bothered us the most was the disgusting stain on the couch that they tried to cover up using the throw blanket. The bed was somewhat comfortable but it blocked the closet door that held the full length mirror. So you couldn't open it all the way and it made it uncomfortable using the closet. It was also poorly decorated, using placemats as wall decor. It just looked cheap. There were some positives though. In addition to the location, the bathroom was very nice and the shower had excellent water pressure. The television had netflix if that is important to you. Overall, I would say it is a two-star property and, therefore, should be charging less money per night than they are.

Apartment was very well equipped. Would stay here for longer stays if needed. My itinerary didn't have me explore the central parts of the city so I can't speak to transportation and commute to the city but it's within walking distance to the Alhambra. The apartment was heavy with the smell of smoke when we got it - it reduced after the first night. The apartment may not have been mopped prior to check in - not a deal breaker by any means as it was still clean enough. Sheets / beds and the sofa bed were great.

Excellent service and facilities post checkin

EXCELLENT service and accommodation post check in. Location is well serviced by stores restaurants and busses. Safe to walk about during daylight and early evening... Probably late at night too... But we were too tired after 10 pm! One issue associated with check in.... We got the entry code at the last minute.... If it had not arrived while we were still serviced by a WiFi hub (five minutes prior to our leaving it) I don't know how we would have accessed the accommodation for our first night as the hotel office is only staffed between 9am and 2pm (or was it 2:30pm ... I have forgotten. In short: GREAT facility but if you are not travelling with 'data' on your phone and your cell phone plan doesn't deal effectively with roaming charges; the hotel system (as it relates with Hotels.com bookings) might not have provided check in specifics early enough for us.... But it did work out .... With five minutes to spare... And we are glad it did.

Clean and quiet neighborhood hotel

Starting from when Elena checked us in, until we checked out, all was great. Spacious, clean and quiet. Close to groceries, restaurant and a short (uphill) walk to the Alhambra.

Great stay near Alhambra

Great apartment, light and clean with very easy access to bus for Alhambra as well as walking into Plaza Nuevo, the cathedral and the Albaicin. Elena was very helpful with finding parking, the bus and holding luggage after check out while we toured the Alhambra.

Location in the old town means it is easier to visit the landmarks there. For example, we were able to walk to the Alhambra. The hotel is in a narrow street and the cobbled street may not be kind to our luggage wheels. Concierge is available only at certain hours so if after their office hours, you need to check your email for check in details. They are able to book a cab in advance to take us to the airport for €32 and that was a very reasonable price to pay for convenience.

There were 4 of us. The sofa bed was broken- so you can imagine how uncomfortable we slept. Also, there is literally no hot water. i had to take showers with very cold water. It would have been an incredible stay if these issues were fixed. The sofa bed is not appropriate at all. My back still hurts.
