We liked that we could walk to town, where restaurants were plenty, and was a very short drive to the Zugspitze. But above all this, we absolutely love the Mountain Views, the beautiful flowers and the peace and quiet.

Close to skiing and wonderful restaurants. We walked everywhere. Cozy lounge and restaurant with antique decor. Professional, friendly, helpful staff who provided everything we needed to have a great time in the area. Highly recommend! Would stay here again.

The front office staff are some of the nicest and most accommodating we had on our trip. They help with anything you need. The only little problem with the room was that there was no air conditioning in the room so it got a little stuffy and hot in the night time.

The hotel is very nice, but overpriced. I think, the biggest part of this price is for the view, and view is wonderful! The personnel is very friendly and ready to help. It was also very nice to see the little presents for our dog in the room. Location is also good - there is a walking view route in 5 min from the hotel. The center with cafes and restaurant also not so far away -about 10 min walk. BUT: The bathroom is extremely small and should be renovated (as an example - the sink is pretty small and low, even for me with the height of 164cm it was uncomfortable to use). No air conditioner (I believe, this is because of the building itself is not so new). And the biggest disappointment - the restaurant. Extremely overpriced, but nothing special in the taste at all. On top of that, we were waiting for our order more than 30min. Not sure if it's still has the Michelin star, but anyway, I do not recommend it.

Very traditonal hotel with an excellent view of the moutains. We took the dinner at the hotel and the food and service was on the top of my list also. Should ask for a room facing the mountain.

Stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. I paid almost £200/day for the room but I reckon I could get a nicer and bigger room somewhere else. The location of the hotel was great however the room was so small, especially the bathroom. The receptionist who received me was very kind and even accompanied me to my room however, the other lady was quite rude and sarcastic. I politely asked her where I could get some ice as I just came from outside and it was very hot and she said in an irritated voice "go there (pointing to the restaurant), you see I dont have ice here." Overall, it was okay but wouldnt come back or recommend.

Sehr schönes edles Hotel mit direktem Blick auf die Zugspitze. Obwohl wir vorher Bescheid gesagt hatten, dass wir 40. Hochzeitstag feiern, gab es vom Hotelpersonal noch nicht mal einen Glückwunsch, geschweige denn eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit. Würden wir schon erwarten bei einem Vier-Sterne-Superior-Hotel. Frühstück war jedenfalls sehr gut und das Zimmer war auch schön.

Stille og rolig alpeidyl

Vi (2 voksne og 2 børn) havde et rigtig dejligt ophold. Venlig betjening, lækker mad og en fin pool til afslapning. Hotellet gav os et Grainau kort så vi kunne køre med bus/hotel gratis samt komme i svømmehallen gratis. Nem adgang til smuk natur.
