"This community run hotel links to a bar and restaurant and is the centre of local community life. Beautiful view and helpful staff. WiFi does not work at all in some rooms."

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel has been nicely renovated and you can tell they have paid attention to the small details. We especially liked that they provided The Scottish Fine Soaps Company toiletries, which was a nice touch. As we had an early ferry to catch the next morning, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us the night before. It included fresh fruit, yogurt, handmade cheese and pickle bread, snacks, and sparkling water. It was really convenient and much appreciated. Great service and highly recommended."

"Beautifully decorated with great in room amenities. We really appreciated the local cheese, meats, and other food items. everything was very clean and well thought out with an extremely comfortable bed and high quality linens. Our only issue is we could hear the floors creaking often and loudly from the room next-door. And with the wall being in common with bed headboard, it made for a noisy night until around midnight when the neighbor settled down. Good location with ample free street parking. We appreciated the honor bar with local liquors as well."

"This is a cute little (emphasize little) B&B. The owner was wonderful, she cooked a delicious breakfast and was personable (love her cat and dog). The B&B was clean and well stocked. We took a star off because it is located well off the beaten track with poor dining options in the area and the room was very small. It was reported to have a king size bed but it was a queen size at best. We likely wouldn't stay again but would recommend for other couples, especially those who like animals."
