"Soft bed, Viking experience with the cool ambiance in both the restaurant and breakfast room. The hot tub was nice. The only issue was the bathroom didn’t have a heater or vent. As a result clothes wouldn’t dry and the room was steamy after a full night."

"Loved this hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with an outstanding view. Also perfect for cocktails. Rooms are alittle small and the shower would be hard to navigate if you mobility issues. Heated floors were a bonus. "

Every single member of the staff was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The location was also fantastic — perfectly situated for exploring Reykjavík while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Alda Hotel to anyone visiting Iceland!"

"The rooms were clean but the bathroom was small. We didn't add breakfast as the price was too high. Small bar, but no one usually there. They don't clean the room unless you ask. Rooms were sometimes warm so we opened the window. Good location... easy to get everywhere in the center."

"Fosshótel Baron was located at the perfect spot in Reykjavik where multiple establishments were at a walking distance. The hotel also has a parking lot in front of the entrance where guests can park (for a fee) and hotel guests get a small discount. Will stay here again!"
