「The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. The kitchen has a small fridge and a stovetop, and the bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water (WiFi was also available). 「This place was perfect for what we wanted. An easy place to stay and recharge after a long day. Place was clean and quiet. Not very modern but great shape and clean 」

「We were able to tour both the national park and the southern coast conveniently without having to move between lodgings. The cabin is pretty new, has a nice view of the mountains, and a hot tub and grill on a pretty deck (though the midges require a head net that the host graciously provided for us). The kitchenette was adequate for us since we weren’t cooking anything more than breakfast. The upstairs bedroom with twin beds would be a great spot for a couple of kids who find it fun to climb up...
