Welcome to our unique suite in Mantra on View Hotel! Our suite is unique and different from the other standard hotel rooms as we have refurbished the studio unit and made it more comfortable for our guests!

Also our location is at a very central location here on Gold Coast, which provides the ideal base for tourists seeking a memorable coastal experience for solo traveller/couple.

Surfers Paradise is a popular holiday destination. Visit beautiful beaches, theme parks, river cruises, wildlife sanctuaries or stroll on down to the night markets on the esplanade, every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night. Everything you need is a short walk away from Mantra on View Hotel. Stroll down to the beach during the day for a dip then head to Cavill Avenue for Surfers Paradise’s best shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and clubs!

Take a day trip to Mount Tamborine in the hinterland, visit a winery, or simply browse the nearby shops and sample the food at local restaurants. Hire a jetski and take in the waters from a new perspective or soar majestically over it all in a hot air balloon. There are Segways, Aquaduck Tours, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and a great mixture of art and craft markets.

You can spend a day at the races at Kingston Park or get another type of adrenalin rush going while you’re there with a thrilling bungy jump. Depending on the time of year you visit the Gold Coast you’ll find all types of exciting events from the Gold Coast 600 to Coolangatta Gold Festival of Surf.

In the mood to be a little amazed – visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not or go all out and spend a night at Draculas. Putt Putt Golf is available for a little family fun. You’ve got food and wine trails, farmers markets and fresh seafood to be bought straight off the boats. You can’t go past the Gold Coast for all round entertainment and Mantra on View Hotel is in the centre of it all.

Our home is not suitable for parties and events. The neighbour will call either me, our local security patrol or the police if noise is excessive after 10pm.

Our quiet hours are 10pm to 8am on the second day! Thank you for your understanding and help in keeping a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood.

We usually need at least a day to arrange cleaning and inform our cleaners special check-in requirements. If you have made a same day booking, we cannot ensure you a 3pm check in. However we will try our best to accommodate your request, therefore drop us a message before you make a last minute booking and let us know your planned arrival time!

EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS

Unlike hotels, we do not have an onsite cleaning service and our cleaners usually make their schedule a day before. We have a standard check in time of 3pm which ensures that our cleaners have enough time to make our home nice and clean for your stay! If you need an early check in, please contact me at least a day before your planned arrival day and we will try our best to accommodate your request! Unfortunately we will not be able to guarantee any early check in request on the day of your arrival, thank you for your understanding in advance!

LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS

We understand that sometimes you really enjoy your time here with us and would like stay a little longer! However, we sometimes have guests coming to stay on the same day you check out and unlike hotels, we do not have alternative rooms for them! Therefore it is important that all late check out requests should be made AT LEAST THE NIGHT before your departure to ensure that our cleaners have plenty of time to finish their work! If you need to check out after 12pm, an extra HALF DAY rate will be charged through Airbnb and the payment must be made on and before the night you check out for your request to be approved. We will not accommodate late check out requests on the day of your departure. Without a late check out confirmation, our cleaner will commence their work at 10am and they will have access to our property for housekeeping.

STARTER SUPPLIES

We provide all our guests with essential starter supplies to make your stay more enjoyable. Complimentary supplies include: 1 set of bed linens for each bed, 2 towels per double/queen/king bed, 1 towel per single/sofa bed, 1 tea towel, coffee + tea + sugar + milk, 2 toilet rolls per toilet, 1 bath mat, 2 hand towels and shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, bodywash per bathroom. There are also a few other cooking supplies provided in our kitchen. Please note these supplies are not intended to last for the whole duration of your stay but are provided to avoid the need to rush to supermarkets immediately after your arrival. If you need extra supplies, please arrange with us prior to your stay to avoid delivery costs! If you would like to request mid-stay supply delivery, please contact us and we are more than happy to help!

Please make sure to book for the actual number of guests so that linens & towels can be provided for all!

They are both available upon request at a cost of $40 which can be paid through Airbnb. Once payment is received, we will arrange them to be set up for you. We provide regular sheets to our cot and it will be made for you. It is also recommended that you bring your own fabrics to protect the sensitive and delicate skin of your baby!

A disappointment

We were excited about this stay but left disappointed, as the experience fell short of expectations due to discrepancies between the advertisement and reality.The booking process was unnecessarily stressful, requiring payment of an undisclosed credit card surcharge and a digital signature through a system lacking clear data protection safeguards. Parking was advertised as available via the hotel, but this was actually never an option.Despite being described as refurbished, the room felt outdated, with mould in the bathroom, chipped paint, broken items, and non-functional lights. Cleanliness issues mentioned in previous reviews persisted, and despite having to pay a cleaning fee, we had to clean to be able to use it.Facilities were lacking: the minibar-sized fridge was unusable without defrosting, the kitchenette was in fact a bench, and items like glasses and cutlery were insufficient for the advertised number of guests. When we told Olivia, someone entered our room without our knowledge or consent to leave some cutlery.The advertised ocean view mostly consisted of streets and buildings, accompanied by noise, and gym access was unavailable despite repeated follow-ups. Hygiene was a concern as we were instructed to keep rubbish in the room for 12 days.Wi-Fi, mentioned in the check-in instructions, was later to be excluded.These cumulative issues made it difficult to feel comfortable, and unfortunately, the stay did not meet the expectations set by the listing.

Nice view but room was dirty

The room is located at the Mantra hotel, which is dated in itself, as is the room. The room requires some love and this is obvious once you open the entrance door, in which we were greeted with dirty carpet that hadn't been vacuummed in a long time. The furniture is dated along with the bathroom, which is stinky and covered in mould. We thought that we may as well try and get comfortable and open our bottle of wine, in which we found the wine glasses to be dirty. The host has no idea about the property as she asked us to empty the dishwasher.... which is difficult when the room doesn't have one. Another case of..... who cares, I just want your money. Shame on you STAYZ for allowing this property in your listing's!
