Very good choice for those en route to the north
"Room was comfy and had a lovely view of the mountain, river and northern sky. Access road is 4km of shingle in ok condition. Google maps gives the wrong location (by 20km!) when using a saved offline map, ok when online. Breakfast was very good. Lovely, friendly and un-pushy border collie dog."

"I enjoyed an early morning walk from the hotel. The room itself was worn and in need of updating (including the towels and the mattress). The television was non-functional. The receptionist seemed uninterested on check-in. This was the most disappointing property of the 8 we stayed in over 11 days. ..."
