"Was not expecting this to be an extremely busy place, lineups to get bar service in order to get ice. No fridge in the room. Bathroom was really nice but the rest of the unit was extremely dated and the mattresses were not new, they were old spring mattresses. No AC but fans and a portable heater were provided.
Asked the staff for kleenex, sorry we dont have any, asked for toilet paper, we dont have any. Food choices were extremely expensive and when I went in to ask what was available, they said we're closed rudely. Garbage pails outside were overflowing, parking was an issue. Starbucks offered coffee that was quite expensive compared to elsewhere.
I will give credit that the room was very clean although dated."
"“Booked this hotel expecting a high-quality stay based on the price and facilities advertised, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We paid £144 for one night and the hotel felt very run down, dated, and in need of major refurbishment. The room and overall property did not feel worth the money at all.
We specifically chose this hotel because of the leisure centre, gym, sauna and spa facilities, but even those were underwhelming and disappointing compared to what we expected from a hotel in this price range. There are far more modern hotels nearby for cheaper prices that offer a much better overall experience.
The staff were genuinely lovely, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which was the only real positive. You could tell they were doing their best. However, great staff alone cannot make up for how tired and neglected the hotel feels overall.
For the price paid, I expected comfort, quality and a more modern environment. Instead, it felt old-fashioned, worn out and overpriced. Sadly, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it unless the hotel undergoes significant improvements and refurbishment.”"
"Some of the male staff were very inattentive during breakfast. Plates weren’t cleared during the breakfast and when they were the tables were not cleaned. The female staff were excellent."
"This was a beautiful, cosy place to stay. Staff were super friendly and the lobby, guest areas and pub and restaurant were beautiful and welcoming. I would definitely stay again!"
"Rudimentary accommodation. Check in was a distraction with two young children being minded constantly. Door let light through from hallway all night and you could hear everything."
