"The property is exactly as described. Clean, neat, everything one could need to enjoy a long weekend or more stay. We cooked in the cabin and we bring a few dishes, pots and pans as well as utensils, none of ours were needed. The cabin has a well equipped and comfortable kitchen. It is obvious that this was someone's home at one time as it is comfortably furnished. Check in and checkout was easy. I made one mistake though and left the AC running when I left. I'm very sorry. "We had an amazing weekend! The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway and was right on the lake making us feel completely at peace. One of the highlights was catching catfish right from the property, which added an extra layer of fun to our trip. The RV itself was very comfortable and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable retreat. Can't wait to come...

My husband & I came for a Talladega race with our 14 yr old son & his 2 friends. We stayed on the 3rd floor master where the kitchen & main living area are. "After 3 days riding cross country, 5 motorcyclists spent a great 3 nights at "The House On The Lake". Wonderful place, lots of charm and loads of lakeside deck...and our own pier! The covered parking was a huge bonus. Nice place to clean the bikes and keep them out of the elements. Surrounded on three sides by water on a placid lake - it was a terrific place to recharge. Highly recommended!"

"This cabin was so sweet and cozy! Everything was clean and labeled. Incredibly peaceful and so much fun for our kids (5 of them, ages 2-12) there were so many thoughtful things that made us feel comfortable and welcome! From Mrs June helping me navigate VRBO’s interface, to family games, and the ingredients for s’mores. We even took the tandem kayak out for a sunset cruise! It was just what our family needed to connect and relax for the weekend."

"Everything was perfect! I will say that we were honestly surprised at how great it was considering the amazing price. We loved the newly renovated unit. It was so clean and everything felt so comfortable. The mattresses are sooo comfy too. We were on the 15th floor which is the top floor so we got a view of the city and adjacent mountain, it was so pretty. I will say the walls are quite thin because I could hear my kids from the elevator (they are loud but not more than any other kid kinda loud)...

"The tiny home was great, the camp ground was very nice, and we loved the pools! Nice showers and bathrooms on site. Right on the river! The door to the tiny home did lock us out, so be sure to get the property manager's phone # just in case! Also, it's right in the middle of town so there's Walmart & food close by. Great stay!!"
