This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay on the outskirts of Glasgow. The rooms were big and comfortable and the attached restaurant was delicious and staffed by a great group of people. I would definitely return
There was no receptionist available before 9am on Sunday morning when we wished to check out. A mobile number was left to phone however no one answered and we had to find a staff member who was actually unable to help us.
Check in was average . Asked to book a table for dinner . Went to our room definitely not as advertised. Went down for dinner approached the bar to order drinks to be bluntly told table service . Sat down and waited . We were taken through to the restaurant and sat at a dark table blocking the fire exit . Ordered 2 drinks each as it was taking so long . Food was ok . Service abrupt . Had asked for bill and asked if we could go through to the bar to be told no as it was busy . Had another drink at the table . The waiting staff just seemed to disappear. Had to go through and ask for the bill again . So sat at a table to have another drink to be ignored by the bar staff . Three men came in and went to the bar and got served so I went to the bar to be told it was closed it was 10 pm on a Saturday night. and these men were served because they were residents. To which I replied so are we . To be told wait 5 minutes. Spoke to reception when we checked out made them aware of our disappointment. Knew at the time nothing would be said as they never took much information Promised we would hear back about our complaint . Surprise surprise nothing to date .
Really pleasant stay. The evening meal we had on our first night was cracking. We selected from the Indian side of the menu, red wine was perfect. There was a tribute singer scheduled for our third night and we decided to go for £30/head. Kenny Rodgers and Neil Diamond - how could we say no. In addition for the cost came a three course meal that meant the whole night was great value for money. There were plenty of staff to provide excellent service the whole time. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel until our final morning and it wasn't terrific for £10 each. Iced orange juice was a nice touch and so is being served at the table without having to queue for buffet food
A bit off the main routes but still central enough to get around central Scotland. Clean rooms, excellent staff, couldn’t do enough for you. On site restaurant gives a fusion of Asian/Scottish food, my partner could not compliment the lamb highly enough and you could see the restaurant is popular with the locals. All tables taken on a Monday night.
This hotel is proper value for money.
Comfortable newly refurbished room and very comfortable bed.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We arrived at 12 midnight and that was no problem we called the doorman to let us in. We thought there was a fridge in the room but there wasn't so they gave us a huge container of ice to store our perishables.
Anything we needed they supplied and cleaner were extra helpful the next day with stocking up our room with cofee adn towels etc.
Would def stay again if I was in the area.
Would recommend to anyone.
There was a lovely lady holding the fort! She took me to my room. I was attending a family occasion and left straight away after checking in. When I returned in the evening the first thing I noticed when entering my room was the nasty musty smell! Bathroom not a pleasant smell either! Room was warm though. The bed was low and the springs were sticking out! Poor bed linen - therefore, a very uncomfortable night. Having pre paid for the breakfast it was like “Faulty Towers” - no orange juice, cereal, yougurt, fruit, pastries, brown bread for toast! I then choose bacon, egg and sausage. Poor quality served and cooked by the same delightful lady who had checked me in the day before. Very disappointing to sleep in a room that was so run down and cobwebs very evident in the morning daylight. Only good thing was the helpful, delightful lady member of staff.

Staff are brilliant food was lovely corridors smelled like a faint smell of urine could definitely do with some air fresheners rooms were adequate for price paid ,shower flooded bathroom floor.
