If you're reading this, book it, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. Wow, where do I even begin. My partner and I were looking for a secluded and private rental to celebrate our 15 Year Anniversary, and settled on Eagles Landing, so glad we did. The lakehouse is so spacious, includes everything imaginable, from kitchen essentials to linens, to outdoor seating, firepits, canoes, and paddleboats and the list goes on. We are looking forward to returning during the summer months to enjoy more of what the outdoors has to offer. I must say, however, we did enjoy the ambience of the "woodstove" (propane) upstairs, definitely set the mood with the lake view along with the falling snow, it was heaven. Despite the beautiful lakehouse along with all of the amenities, what topped our experience, were the hosts Kathy and John! Yes, the hosts made our experience that much better, which is hard to do, as Eagles Landing on its own is a spectacular experience. The hosts kept us informed every step of the way, offered restaurant recommendations, and even made themselves readily available anytime of day in the event we had any questions. However, without giving away their secret which sets them apart from most hosts, is the amount of thought they incorporate into the stay to make it special for each and every guest, not to mention their kind-heartedness.
