「My wife and I stayed for one night, bed and breakfast on 29th May 2024. Our room was clean, comfortable and a pleasant temperature. We had excellent sea views. Our bed was ok but a bit on the small side. Breakfast offered a reasonable selection and was perfectly adequate.As we came and went we were aware of cooking smells from the kitchen. The hotel is in a brilliant location right in the centre of the town. I would be happy to stay in the hotel again if we return to this part of the world.」

「Arrived after 21.00 in readiness for a 05.30 start for the Cairnryan ferry (20 minutes drive away). Very warm welcome by friendly staff who rustled me up a sandwich even tho the kitchen was closed. Fantastic views, pet friendly, great value for money. Rooms and decor are a little tired but clean, tidy and comfortable. Recommended. Portpatrick a lovely small harbour town. 」

「Lovely room comfortable bed and really quiet no noise at night so great sleep. Dinner was lovely , surroundings beautiful with live music played on tbe piano. Great selection of food on menu which tasted fabulous. The bar is a lovely vibrant place with great selection of drinks. Finally the breakfast was amazing and served by a lovely lady who made sure we didn’t want for anything. Thankyou for a fabulous stay 😊」

「We chose this hotel to be close to the ferry terminal. Although a little farther from the terminal than we first thought, we feel it was our best choice compared to alternatives in the area. 「Nice flat with lovely views of the quay. Very clean and well equipped. Nice detail having water in the fridge on our arrival. Great base to explore Stranraer and surrounding area.」

「Very pleasant stay at Blinkbonnie. Great welcome from Lesley when we arrived. Comfortable room with all the facilities needed. The cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was also very good. Blinkbonnie is very well placed, a short downhill walk to Portpatrick which has several pubs to chose from for an evening meal. 」

「This is an excellebt plot with enclosed garden, great with dogs and your own gate onto the beach. The views are stunning when the tide is in you are just several steps from getting into the sea, which is surprisingly blue and warmed up quickly on a sunny day. People were swimming in it in May although i think i would have wanted a short sleeved wet suit before making thd plunge. Lodge itself great, very well appointed...if going with dogs make sure to take towels as cream carpet a bit concerning...
