"Nice and clean room. Private porch in the back for the morning coffee or evening wine. 3 minutes walk to the beach to see the sunrise (weather permitting). Pizza trailer arrives at around 5 pm. We were pleased with everything except the heating that was blowing directly on the bed. A bit uncomfortable."

"The motelier (Stephen) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home, as soon as we arrived. If you have been driving all day, from Wellington to Gisborne, the last thing that you need is a non-friendly person to meet you, but Stephen was totally awesome/wonderful. The motel was very quiet too. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was refreshing. I will stay at this motel again."
