Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). "Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"We had a good stay at the hotel because we have loved it for the last 10 years. The food was the usual excellent standard. However, the bed was the least comfortable and most worn out bed we have seen in a hotel in years, which led to a poor nights sleep. The bathroom has been repaired since our last visit but the worksmanship was poor and it felt quite shoddy. We did not use the pool area this time, so cannot comment on whether it has been maintained. We will wait a while before we return and hope the mattress (es) are upgraded. Thank you to the kitchen and waiting team for really good meals. "
