Our very comfortable room had patio access to the back garden for our dogs. The shared eating area and kitchen were exceedingly well-equipped. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. "Check in klappte wunderbar. Die Wohnung hatte leider deutliche Mängel.Im Bad war der Toilettendeckel lose und an der Dusche hing einverdrecktes Handtuch.Im Flur fiel nach aufhängen einer Jacke der Haken aus der Wand. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich noch Getränke und Essensreste. Polster der küchenstühle sind stark verschmutzt oder beschädigt. Im Schlafraum sind die Steckdosen teilweise ohne Funktion und die Sessel ebenso am Polster verschmutzt..Im Wellnessbereich ist die Beleuchtung...

Only ten minutes to the Moselle and 15 to Bernkastle. The owners are wonderful people and gracious hosts who we now consider our peraonal friends.
