"We enjoyed the ambience created by the homeowner and the unbelievable breakfast prepared each morning until 10 am. Communication was superb. Parking was easy. WiFi available. Note that the property is a very old home hence the stairway to enter the second and third floors are too narrow for a person with physical limitations. "

There were not too many pictures of the apartment on Expedia when I booked, but the apartment surpassed all of our expectations. The apartment was very big, all rooms were very big. The hosts were simply amazing. It took a little while before I got a reply when I first messaged them on Expedia but once we were at the apartment they were quick to help and so welcoming. "We had a great time. This is luxury accommodation. Gourmet kitchen. Two generous sized bedrooms plus bed alcoves for children. Free sauna, jacuzzi and plunge pool makes for fun family times plus a 10 minute walk (uphill but we 70 year olds made it) to the old town"

"This is an excellent option if you want to spend some time in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This property is right next to the old city wall which runs around the old town and there is an entrance a few meters from the hotel entrance, and because it's not right in the heart of the old town, it's quite peaceful after sunset. The room was small (by north american standards) but definitely served the purpose. There are a lot of antique and old-world touches everywhere while being modern in places like the washroom and having an A/C unit. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good and the included breakfast was very enjoyable for our family -- though don't expect a waffle station or anything like that. It was a somewhat traditional German breakfast with lots of cold cuts, cheese, hardboiled and scrambled eggs, and some break with various spreads. We loved it. I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a fantastic place to experience all that Rothenburg old town has to offer. "

"We arrived late and received a wonderful and warm welcome from the owners' daughter. She made us feel so welcome after a very long day and got us checked in quickly and easily. The next morning we met the owners and both were also very warm and friendly. We had a great breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. This was most definitely the best stay we had out of the 11 hotels we stayed in on this roadtrip. If we ever come back to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, this is where we will be staying."
