「The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The bedding was amazing Mattress a bit soft for our taste, but that’s a hard one to get right.」

「Our only concern, as seniors, was the steep stairs. We were in a downstairs room one night, with stairs down to the first floor. Then we moved to a second floor room, with even steeper stairs. Perhaps a dumb waiter to help with luggage? But the property is lovely, beautifully appointed rooms, excellent service, wonderful staff. Highly recommend!」

「Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!」

「The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It...

「Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. They offered great suggestions on where to dine and what sites would be interesting to visit. The location of the B&B is perfect. It sits across the street from a beautiful park and is within walking distance to everything you would want to experience in Savannah. Our room needed some definite upgrades that would be very inexpensive yet would make a huge difference in the room and its appearance. The carpet was old and dirty, bathroom...

「Just got home from a long weekend spent at the beautiful Hotel Bardo. From the beautiful pink and white umbrellas at the pool to the luxurious bathroom and friendly helpful staff, my group of 10 girlfriends from college loved every minute of it. It was authentic luxury not something fake or forced. Great job!」

We were in a very quiet area and walking to the river district or other areas of the historic district was easy and close. Private parking was a plus and great. 「Absolutely the worst staff i have ever experienced. Front desk person (Bri) was extremely rude. The front desk was left unattended with other guests information out, valet keys sitting out, so many issues. Finally she came in from outside with a bad attitude as if we were an inconvenience. Very unhelpful, unfriendly and concerning. Then upon our return from our travel our bill was incorrect. I called to correct the overcharge and was hung up on. Worst experience ever, i will be contacting...

「Would appreciate a sign on site, and on reservation site about parking across street at city parking garage. Without a driveway or pull off in front of hotel on one way street for check in/out, it was awkward and dangerous.」

「The room was very spacious. More like a 1 bedroom apartment. They offered a happy hour but unfortunately we weren’t able to take advantage of it due to having other activities at the same time. Water and soda was available in the lobby. Walkable to everything. Staff friendly and helpful.」

「The cost of the hotel was very reasonable for the size of the unit. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. The beds were pretty comfortable. The only thing I would nitpick about the hotel are the pillows, they were too soft for us. Even after stacking them, our heads would pretty much be on the mattress after a few hours. Overall the hotel was great, I would just suggest bringing along a pillow you like (if possible).」

「This property is historic, so do not expect everything to be perfect. The staff is the very best, they will take great care of you. Breakfast in the morning and cookies and southern tea water in the late afternoon. Great location cation near forest Gump square (James Ogalthorp) food and coffee shops- great location.」
