Overcharged
I was charged double the standard rate for the hotel room which I realized when I checked out and saw the normal rates. When I queries the receptionist for the reason why I am paying double the normal rates she responded by saying I booked the last room available on my first night stay. I unfortunately was in a rush to the airport so was unable to argue the point. Beware of this hotel.

Fantastic views
Old refurbished granary. Older motel. Clean, comfortable. Historical. Good breakfast and restaurant. Good value. On opposite side of river to main town and tourist attractions, and a bit of a trek to get to bridge to cross over, boat available to get you across but doesn't run very often.Gives you a great view of the town. Extra bed we required for 3rd person was a couch/divan, but ok. Gdansk an amazing place to visit. Highly recommend.

Central location - excellent position for Old Town
Stayed five days and during this time I couldn't fault the hotel, location, restaurant, evening meal, breakfast and the staff were helpful, attentive, helpful, resourceful and spoke good English. Certainly will revisit again. There was a small ferry circa 100m from the hotel that cut out a 500m walk and cost 1.5zl per ride (25p) and ran from 10:00-16:00hrs. Excellent restaurant on the top floor of the Crane Museum overlooking the river and marina if you wanted to eat outside with set lunch time menu 21zl.

My stay was great. Hotel is very convenient to the old city. Can walk there in five minutes or take the fairy across the river. Staff was friendly, nice room, included breakfast was very good. Would stay there again.

Good hotel, shame about the staff.
This hotel is in an ideal location but is let down by the staff. If the staff were more professional the hotel could make a fortune. We eat out on all but one night because of the lack of professionalism of the waiting staff. We would have enjoyed more drinks on the terrace too if the staff could be bothered to take orders. The staff need a good course in customer service and then the hotel would make a good living as it's location is great.

The hotel is a bit far located from the center of restaurants and shops , but has a fantastic wiev from most of the rooms. We've stayed here before and never been disappointed. Will stay here again. Nice breakfast.

Beautiful Hotel
Amazing. Room was fantastic with view of the river. Hotel was spotless and staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was really nice with good selection of cold items, hot sausage, eggs, fresh breads and good coffee. Hotel is located about 10 mins walk from main street/area but well worth the walk. Had a wonderful stay and would definately come back again.

Comfortable hotel with view of Old Town
Located in an old granary, it is very picturesque from the outside. Our room was on the small side and the bathroom was very small. The breakfast buffet was included in the price and had a nice selection. The hotel had no public lounge to speak of.

Great small hotel by the river in Gdansk!
Great hotel, very nice breakfast buffet with excellent coffee, friendly and helpful staff, peaceful neighborhood, free WiFi, ironing board quickly on demand brought to your room,... all in all, a great stay. A bit off from the pedestrian walkway in the middle of the old town on the otherside of the river, about 15 minutes walk, but otherwise the location was great since the view to the river was pleasant and the surrounding area calm. Definitely would recommend this small but elegant hotel. Definitely worth more than 3 stars.

Great value for money hotel. Views over the river and historic riverside. Can be reached from old town by 30 second ferry ride in the day, and only a 5-10 minute walk in the night (depending where from in town). Friendly staff, generous breakfast buffet.

Great hotel in Gdansk
Very clean and modern hotel in a converted granary we stayed in a riverside room which had outstanding views of the river and Gdansk. The hotel is situated on an island, because of this it is about a 15 minute stroll into the city centre but this is no problem as there is a great bar at the Hotel Gdansk on the way. We found the staff at the Krolewski to be very courteous,friendly and helpful without exception and the included buffet breakfast was excellent with an excellent variety of food (including egg & bacon) on offer. The only small complaint I have with the Krolewski is the lack of coffee making facilities in the room or the lobby making it difficult to get a hot drink if returning later in the evening, but overall an excellent hotel I would reccomend to anybody.

Hotel Krolewski - excellent hotel
Situated within few minutes walk from to the center. View of the Motlava river, next to the excellent Maritime Museum and Philharmonic. Very friendly staff, comfortable room. Hotel restaurant is excellent.

Great location and character
Would definitely recommend this hotel..great location and character (converted grain mill by the river). Staff very curteous and helpful. Free internet laptop on request, free bottled water and shower items in room. Great buffet breakfast.

The check in experience was what let this hotel down, arriving after midnight and the 3rd bed not made up or ready as we had 2 young children with us. The hotel decoration was also a bit tired, but the rates / value for money for the hotel, check in excluded were good value for money in a central location. Breakfast included was average

Mysigt hotell inrett i en gammal lagerbyggnad, helt ok standard med sängarna knakade vilket inte är ok på en romantisk weekend :) Frukosten va inte fantastisk, och retauerangen öde på kvällen. Men läget är jättefint trots byggarbetsplatsen utanför, kort promenad över till den gamla delen av centrum. Återvända..? nej, inte till detta hotellet. Finns säkert bättre till samma peng.

Hotel bardzo ładny. bardzo dobra obsługa personelu. polecam pokoje z widokiem na rzekę / starówkę. Główną zaleta hotelu jest jego położenie - wszędzie blisko na pieszo. Ogólna ocena 4 ponieważ podczas pory obiadowej pani kierownik restauracji/hotelu zrobiła zebranie z pracownikami w restauracji, mocno krytykując swoich pracowników, co wszystko było słychać w całej restauracji i bardzo nas to zestresowało.

Sääli, että loistavalla paikalla sijaitsevan entisen upean suosikkihotellimme palvelutaso on romahtanut. Premium-huoneessamme premiumia oli vain näköala, ei saippuaa, kaksi pientä vesipulloa vain saapumispäivänä, ravintolassa ei tarjoiltu hotellivieraille yllättäen yhtenä iltana yksityistilaisuuden takia... Onneksi Gdanskissa riittää hotelleja... Kunnollisesti hoidettuna tämä hotelli olisi kultakaivos.

Vi hadde bestilt bare en natt og bodde fra lørdag til søndag. Det ble sagt at hotellet var fullbooket og de hadde antakelig ikke fått solgt de beste rommene sine så vi ble overraskende oppgradert til "apartment" rom, på toppen. Det viste seg å være en kjempesuite med oppholdsrom på nærmere 50 kvadratmeter.... Frokosten var god, middag i restauranten "sånn der". Veldig hyggelig betjening all over the place.
