Great staff and a good location.

This looks more like a hotel than a hostel. It's very modern and well run. The girl at the front desk was wonderful in helping us out. The only downfall was some of the other guests who don't clean up after themselves.

Dissapointment

I arrived at 2 am. Guy in the reception was playing on his phone and when I said that I want to check in he told me to wait until he finished his game. Then he kept playing while checking me in. Then I get to the room. Basic hostel room. The beds were squeaking as soon as you moved. It was really annoying and I woke everyone up cause of that. In the bathroom there was poop all over the toilet and the showers didn’t have locks so someone could just walk in while I stood there naked. I only needed a cheap place to spend the night, but if you want to have a decent place to sleep for longer periods then avoid this hostel. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Great location, but the room not so clean

Wifi connection was good. Bathrooms generally in good condition, tho for 1 day (out of a 2 day stay) there was no soap. The room status was HORRIBLE. Very dusty and the stench was intolerable. During day time, probably 20 flies were in the room constantly. The location is absolutely great tho - close to everything and very central. So, if you're not planning to spend much time in the hostel, not a bad place due to its great location (close to train station, centre of the city and most other things). I'm going back to the same city for in a week for a few more days, I am not staying to in this hostel this time.

I stayed for night in a twin private. Everything was great. The location was perfect, walking distance from old town and train station. There was some noise from the street and some people playing loud music. This didn't bother me but if you are easily bothered buy noise then maybe this is not for you.

The location is good and easily accessible from the airport by bus. The venue is in good condition, the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, and I liked the fact that each bed had a curtain for some privacy. Some rooms can be a bit noisy if the window is to the roadside like it was in mine. There is no lift, which could be a problem for some. The staff were generally friendly, but the receptionists couldn't be bothered helping me to find out about e.g. walking tours in Gdansk, but instead told me to just google it, which I found odd.

Easy to find Hostel

Extremely clean hostel thanks to the hard working staff. A mixture of visitors from near and far. Central, easy to find and convenient for exploring and sightseeing of Gdansk. The only negative is the pod style beds in some rooms, a personal dislike of the deep style low ceiling pods. That said, they do provide privacy for studying for example!

Right in the middle of town and excellent price

I stayed at 3City Hostel for a week at the end of July. A great selection of guests, great wi-fi and close to all local amenities - as well as good value - make this place highly recommended. Don't look elsewhere if you need all the essentials and a touch of glamour!

En suosittele tätä hostellia kenellekkään. Yleiset tilat näyttivät viihtyisiltä, mutta huone (6 hlö ja jaettu kylppäri) oli ihan kamala. En oo pitkään aikaan nähny niin likaista kylppäriä. Hostelli oli myös tosi rauhaton, sillä ihmiset ryypiskeli ja huuteli käytävillä ja yleisissä tiloissa, koputtelivat oviin jne. Tämä siis tapahtu keskellä päivää, en tiedä miten rauhatonta illalla olis ollut, koska vaihoin majoituspaikkaa heti. Viihdyin siellä kokonaiset 10 min, keräsin tavarani ja lähdin etsimään uutta majoituspaikkaa.

Good hostel near the good stuff

G'dansk overall did not seem to have many tourists, in January at least, and so this hostel was mostly other Polish guests, as opposed to foreign travelers like me. The place seems relatively new, and parts of it are still under construction. Hostel staff was very nice and helpful. I liked that the location was walkable to the main train station and historic downtown.

Kohtuu majoitusta

Majoituin hostellissa 6 hengen huoneessa la-su välisen yön joulukuussa. Vaikka ikkuna antoi pääkadulle ei liikenteen melu juuri häirinnyt. Tiloissa oli myös vähän rauhatonta neljän jälkeen kun juhlijat tulivat kaupungilta. Minua ei häirinnyt, mutta jotain muuta voi häiritä se että tiloissa on majoittuneena paljon paikallisia työmiehiä. Näin lauantain kunniaksi ulko-ovella oli aina porukka kalsareissa/boksereissa, tupakat huulessa ja viinapullo kiertämässä. =D

czysty, wielki obiekt, klimat "masówki"

Obiekt jest bardzo duży, przez to nabiera troche klimatu "masówki" - nie ma już tu miejsca na indywidualne podejście czy miłą integracyjną atmosferę. Ogólnie bardzo czysto, wyposażenie nowe I w "eleganckim" stylu. Na kilka nocy może być. Rezerwowałam pokój 6-osobowy, trafiłam do pokoju 8-osobowego - przez pierwsze dwie noce faktycznie spało tam 6 os, ale ostatniej było już tam 8 osób. Plus za darmową herbatę I kawę.

3city hostel not recommended!

I arrived and the front desk couldn't find my reservation. I requested a bottom bunk and got a top bunk. The shower in our room was filthy and we complained but it was not cleaned. It was noisy with 12 year old students slamming doors and running down the halls. The kitchen was locked in the morning so they could clean so we had to pound on the door so we could have a cup of coffee. The worst ever customer service in a hostel and I've been in a lot of hostels in the past 8 months. The staff were curt and rude. I give this place a .5.
