"We needed a place to relax after a day of snowmobiling in Gaylord and this home fit the bill perfectly. Spacious and charming it was like we were time-warped back to the 50's/60's. The original cabin, along with the addition, allowed the four of us plenty of room for sleeping and lounging. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and get the history of the property. "We really enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location and in a quiet area. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing our meals when we didn't go to Gaylord for supper. It was a nice comfortable place to relax at after we spent the day cross country skiing and hiking. But room and building was extremely nice and comfortable, and service was excellent and memorable. GM was playing desk clerk, night auditor, bartender and more, but still offered excellent service and warm conversation. "
