The house was perfect for our two families, offering plenty of space and comfort. Everything was spotless, and the sound of the nearby waterfall added such a special charm. Torunn and Lars Egil were wonderful hosts—very welcoming and helpful. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub each evening, taking in the majestic views. The home was also conveniently located for day trips, allowing us to explore many amazing parts of the Norwegian fjords. This was the perfect place to experience the best of Norway, and we would love to return."

"Five stars is not enough for the stone cabin in Ortnevik! The one bedroom cabin is so charming. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals and the bed is comfortable. The property is incredibly beautiful and there are interesting hikes right from the cabin. Just a quick walk away you’ll find an amazing wood sculpture garden that will blow your mind. Eldar was very helpful with check in and with advice on where to hike and walk. The small store in town has limited hours but a surprising amount of supplies for a small place. But if you have the option it is likely best to grocery shop in a larger town before arrival. At the cabin I felt I could be away from it all and see the real Norway. "Well worth the price, spectacular surroundings offering fjord views and a sense of being a member of the traditional hotels. You can kayak, take a sauna, a dip if you are hardy enough. The breakfast was lovely, as was the dinner. And King Harald Fairhair was born in the neighborhood! "
