"Marbella is beautiful, and the hotel is perfectly located just a 10-minute walk from the lovely marina and the luxury shopping area. The beach is only about 50 meters from the hotel, and there is a supermarket around 100 meters away, which is very convenient. The hotel itself, especially the pool area, is actually much smaller than it appears in the photos. However, the staff are very kind and helpful, especially in the restaurant. The food was excellent. The coffee was unfortunately below average, both at breakfast and at the bar. The rooms are nice, with a great large bed, but the interior areas of the hotel could definitely use some updating. The hotel is not really suitable for small children, as there is no kids’ zone—only a very small pool and nothing else for children, either indoors or outdoors. A great touch was the filtered water dispensers in the hallways, and even during dinner, water is provided free of charge, which is amazing. Overall, it is a nice hotel in beautiful surroundings with great food and friendly staff."

"The breakfast was the worst quality I have ever had in any hotel in my life and at 16 euros a head it was not that cheap. The restaurant was no better very low quality food and watered down drinks, even the coffee was weak. You will leave the Hotel Don Miguel feeling like you have been rip-off. The location of this hotel is the only thing it has going for it."

"The hotel is in a great location for siteseeing etc. It is close to bars and restaurants. We had a few issues with room cleaning being not up to a good standard, but after bringing it to the hotels attention it was rectified. Breakfast is good with a fair selection. Parking available on site for Euro15 per 24hrs"

"This a nice hotel. The building AC was not working during how stay. The staff did not mention at check-in. We had a south-west facing room and got super warm, 30+ degrees at night and we did not get a good night sleep. The front desk was ambivalent about the issue and should have been handled much better.. Would not recommend."

"Second time we have stayed, lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly & professional, breakfast is very nice. Only negative this holiday, aircon still on winter hours so had open the windows for cool air. My husband was bit quite badly by mosquitos."
