The breakfast we felt was not as good as before covid. We have stayed there twice and we like it, bed being comfortable and the bathroom was updated. But we do need more amenities like a refrigerator in our room. We need more for our money. We do love the big front porch with the rockers. So relaxing.

The Gatlingburg inn was a lovely hotel in a prime location in gatlingburg, the decor was dated and added to the hole experience. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We travel to Gatlinburg at least twice a year and our looking for a place that we love to stay there every time. I wanted to love the Gatlinburg inn because the location is fantastic. The good 1) their breakfast is delicious 2) staff is friendly 3) nice front porch to sit on. The not so impressive 1) they had ALOT of empty rooms and put us in literally the only room without a view 2) no bathroom counter space to put toiletries 3) the lighting! There is not one lamp or dimmer light in the room. I get up much earlier than my husband and if you turn on the one and only light switch it lights up the chandelier above the bed and the hallway light. VERY bright. Overall I was left slightly disappointed. I really didn’t appreciate the room without any view especially when they had every other one in our hallway (all that overlooked the strip) empty.

So my wife and I booked on Expedia for our vacation. We stayed from April 24 through April 28 and I can tell you that I was not impressed at all. Our room 261 was right where the char lifts up the mountain was and people yelling until 10 at night is not cool. When we got here on the 24th and checked in the receptionist was too busy on her phone to even greet us. She was more worried about her conversation than she was with us. The whole time we stayed we never was greeted by staff and no staff member ever said hello or good morning to us. Another thing the beating and hammering from the construction guys below us was annoying as well. The breakfast was cold and you were only allowed one plate and the staff that was in charge of it watched how much you took. I will say the only good thing about this hotel was walk ability around Gatlinburg. It’s right in the middle of everything and that was great. I would not recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet or if you want friendly staff. The price I paid I would have been better off at another hotel
