I completely disappointed in the overall cleanliness of this property. There was toothpaste smeared on one bedroom nightstand, toothpaste on the carpet in the same bedroom, used paper towel on the floor in the bathroom that is attached to the bedroom with the toothpaste all over. The bedding had something all over it. We couldn't use the bedding the night of check in. I had to strip the bedding to wash. The floors in the kitchen were not swept or mopped upon our arrival and there are no cleaning utensils to do this unless you bring your own or go buy a broom and mop. There was a half-eaten cough drop on the nightstand in one of the downstairs bedrooms. One of my grandkids found a half-eaten pretzel sandwich in one of the drawers to the coffee table and none of the counters were clean in the kitchen. I spent the first few hours of our arrival cleaning and wiping things down. We called 3 times to get the trash taking care of and the bathroom tub looked at (won't drain) with the response each time stating they had no record of the previous call. Overall, location was great but if I were the owners of this cabin and was paying someone to clean it, I would be looking for a new company.

Excellent place!
We loved it! Perfect place to celebrate and relax with friends. Beautiful view. Very steep driveway. Hard to pull in without scraping bottom. Need to provide more towels, toilet paper, oven mitts, wash cloths, hangers, new pillows and dish rags. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Great house/location, but that's it...
My friends and I get together every year for a girls trip. We've never had the issues we had this time. The house and location was great, but the rest was less than acceptable. Because there are so many items, I am just going to list them....1. they wouldn't give us the address or check-in instructions until actual check-in time (4pm) which ended up being 4:45pm by the time we actually got the email for check-in instructions; 2. upon arrival and a long trip, we found that the 1 roll of toilet paper they left in each bathroom, was wet and matted together like paper mache, there was no soap and only a couple of wash clothes. We called and were told it would be 2-4 hrs and if they didn't come b/4 midnight, it would be after 10am the next morning; 3. the beds did not have mattress pads, the sheets were piling and rough, the pillows were old and flat; 4. both bathtubs on the main floor (one had hair left in it and the other had dirt that had settled in between the crevices...it was gross!); 5. they did not provide even 1 hair dryer; 6. there was minimal silverware and no baking sheets and other baking items; 7. there were no pot holders or dishtowels. When they came at 10pm the second night to bring a pot and new box of bakeware, they told us that they don't provide pot holders & the dishtowels are to be used for that; 8. the dishwasher is very temperamental; and 9. the jacuzzi is small and old with very few jets. We paid a decent amount to stay here & it was NOT worth it.

Minor Issues but will stay here again.
3 couples stayed here just this week with kids aging from 6 up to 18. We loved the location, the house and the amenities. You are only about 3 miles from Gatlinburg do you are out of the craziness of the strip and just about a mile away from Food City which we visited frequently making it very comvenient. The view from the deck is amazing. The kids played pool, arcade, and the arcade golf and we all used the hot tub everyday. Here are some things I wish we knew prior but not huge issues and some notes 1.the driveway is very steep and only fits 2 cars at top but there is parking area at the bottom 2.there were some issues with the process of finalizing my rental with verification of ID and final payment but customer service was very helpful and responsive. 3. There were only about 8 bath towels in the cabin but there is a washer and dryer. So you may want to bring extra or request extra at time of booking. 4. There are not a lot of spoons as i think guests along the way may have taken some home with them accidentally so i reccomend picking up some plastic silverware. 5. One arcade game did not work and the ice maker in the refrigerator wasn't working properly. We were only in the cabin at night because we were hiking and rafting the rest of the time so the minor issues didn't bother us at all. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and and will most likely book here again. .

Run from this management
The resorts and I use that term loosely is not as the pictures posted. The picture of pool made it seem large and spacious when it is tiny, think motel pool small. We rented because of pool and the arcade games, however only the golf game worked and after contacting management, we were told someone would be out to check them in 2 hours or less, no one came the week we were there even after contacting them several times. And the list goes on. I have always used vrbo when booking in Gatlinburg but the communication with Cabins of the Smokey Mts has made me very leery of rentals in the future. We were traveling for 7 hours and the entire time I was trying to get check in info and they kept saying they would send it and 30 minutes away we finally got the cabin code. Never ever again will I rent from Cabins of the Smokies.

Nice Home and Layout
The home was very nice and in a good area. My family, including the kids, enjoyed it. It was too cold for the hot since it was outside...and unfortunately as soon as we left the snow came :( We will definitely be back to enjoy it again!

Over the top experience
