This place is a dump. Been there 3 times in 6 months to fish Mille lacs. All 3 times different staff, pool was always closed all 3 time. 10/2-10/4 stay new mngr told me owners don’t publish pool closed because no one will book.. breakfast sucks, access cards stop working, toilet doesn’t work absolute hellhole

Very average accommodations. Cheap everything from bathroom fixtures to blankets and pillows. Okay for fishing trip or overnight stop but don't plan a family or romantic weekend around it.

Good value motel which has been recently refurbished. Good quality A/C and bathroom fittings. I will stay there again. Staff were friendly and efficient. No traffic noise, but conveniently located.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Room temperature regulation worked good. Close to eating, gas, and other stores. 200 yards from lake Mille Lacs.

This property is currently being renovated. The room I reserved was not the first assigned but we were given the correct room. Both pools were non functional. The complimentary breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The water was warm but not hot and the drains were slow. The ac/heater had the option for constant fan but that did not work so full time ac it was. I would stay again in the future. I am hopeful the renovations and repairs will be complete. Stay date 8/29-30/2026

Bed was ok, pillows weren’t. There was a small coffee pot but no coffee packets, creamer or sugar. The breakfast menu was pretty slim, coffee, muffins, and waffle maker but I couldn’t find any batter. I think there was some fruit on the tables.

The Manager on duty was amazing and after realizing that over half of the power outlets in the room did not work and the AC was also not working and no other rooms to offer he gave us a full refund.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay thanks to the outstanding staff. Everyone I encountered was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel itself could use some updating. The bedding and towels were noticeably dated and worn, and the room itself was worn. The complimentary breakfast was average, with limited options and nothing that really stood out. If the hotel invests in refreshing the linens and improving the breakfast selection, it would better match the excellent level of service provided by its staff and justify the reasonable price.

No pool like they advertised. They said it was a temporary thing, but we saw that the pool room was a storage room for extra refrigerators and the pool was covered in years of dust. No coffee in the morning and the breakfast was a joke. Our bed sagged to the left.

The staff were polite but were totally overwhelmed. The outside and lobby area looked unkempt. There was no bedding or towels in our room and we were told they were a week behind on laundry. We did get linens later that day. The room was filthy. It had a layer of dust everywhere and spider webs in the corner. We were in the handicap room. The 2nd morning we had a mouse in the room. My husband said the breakfast was very poor. I refused to eat anything from their kitchen. We paid $340.26 for 2 nights and expected better. We would have left the first night but we were in the area for a special event and our budget didn't allow us to spend another $300 plus if we could have found something else.

The man who helped check us in was very friendly, and helpful when room keys were not working. Needed anything just had to ask. Room appeared clean, I know they are still working on updates throughout. Could have used a small trash can in bathroom, but otherwise was a great place to stay for the 1 night we needed.

You can’t beat the price. Rooms have some nice updates including lighting and big screen tv’s with ample cable and streaming capabilities. If anything the beds could use a blanket. I will be back!
