"Clean, 3 bathrooms a plus, quiet area, hot tub was excellent. Decorated nicely, beautiful kitchen with large fridge. If you plan to cook, helpful to know there are no seasonings. Wifi was good. TVs were great too. View of active lock, walkers, ducks, and swans was a definite highlight. "NO INTERNET, NO WIFI – Otherwise very good all respects. When we arrived at Robin Lodge, we were really impressed. It is lovely. Spacious, clean, well equipped, warm. However, there is no internet nor wifi. In this day and age, to not have wifi is unbelievable and somewhat shortsighted. Whilst the listing makes no reference to wifi, I personally think that it should be explicitly stated that there is no wifi. "For the cost I would say it was fair enough. However, the noise was beyond the sensitive point. As the hotel is closed to the main road they fitted double-glazed windows but it was no use, just unbearable. I asked to change the quieter room on the second day they promised it should be better but there was a some sort of engine room underneath which would run like thundering every 30 minutes with the window closed. For the breakfast I didn’t go as I brought my own so no comment. I left the hotel a day earlier and didn’t ask for the refund."

"Four off us stayed for a 1 week, the hotel and staff were excellent and very helpful, our room was very comfortable, bed was very comfortable. We did have a problem trying to get into our room, the key card did not activate and had to go to reception several times for new card. If we had 1 problem, it would be most helpful to have a handrail going up the steps to main entrance."

"Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner."
