I could not expect more from a hotel. This hotel just got 4 Large room but everything is extraordinary here. Welcome drink is a fresh king coconut drink for each one of us and we are the only guests here, it is like the whole villa is just for us, nice staff, wonderful outdoor breakfast, large room space, quite environment, beautiful scenery, clean swimming pool... I am sure to come again.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also. Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service. I had the best time staying here. There was something about the open plan space that made me feel so comfortable. There was beautiful music playing throughout the villa and fragrant incense which just added to the awesome feel of this place. The staff were AMAZING! So friendly, so considerate and went out of their way to help and make sure I had a perfect stay. The pool and outside deck are wonderful, the rooms are huge, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I planned only to stay one...

Excellent! We were surprised by this how nice this was. Clean, comfortable rooms that even had a fridge, and air conditioning was nice and strong. The breakfast was wonderful. The location also is great--delightful strolls around the fort and old town, with its many shops, restaurants and museums; also easy access to the nearby train station, or a short tultuk ride to the beach areas of Unawatuna!

Excellent place to stay away from the noisy beach street. The rooms are spacious and clean, the managememt is super pro-active and really tries to accommodate your needs. I had a great time, thank you.
